Sameer Kulavoor
Sameer Kulavoor (born 1983) is an Indian contemporary artist and founder of one of the earliest specialised design studios in India, Bombay Duck Designs. His works include art, graphic design and contemporary illustration. They have taken the form of paintings, murals, books, zines, prints and objects. His last solo exhibition titled 'You Are All Caught Up' was exhibited at Tarq in December, 2020. Kulavoor was profiled in the third season of the Netflix docu-series, ''Creative Indians'', featuring alongside A R Rahman, Anurag Kashyap, Anita Dongre and Piyush Pandey, amongst others. He was included as one of '50 Most Influential Young Indians' twice by GQ India in 2015 and 2016. Elle Decor named him as part of their 15 Young Artists to follow in 2016. Only Much Louder (OML) is an Indian artist management, event management company and a content production house that was co-founded by Vijay Nair and Girish "Bobby" Talwar and Arjun S Ravi in Mumbai. It informally began, in 2002, as an independent artist management venture by Nair and was officially incorporated in 2006 by Talwar and Nair. The company produces live events—music, comedy—alongside digital and TV content. It manages a roster of artists which include comedians and musicians. OML also ran a ticketing and technology platform, Insider.in, which was acquired by PayTM in 2017. The Kochi-Muziris Biennale is an international exhibition of contemporary art held in the city of Kochi in Kerala, India. It is the largest art exhibition in the country and the biggest contemporary art festival in Asia. Kala Ghoda
Kala Ghoda (International Phonetic Alphabet, IPA:Kāḷā Ghōḍā,(काला घोडा)') is a crescent-shaped art district in Mumbai, India. It hosts several of the city's heritage buildings including museums, art galleries and educational institutions like the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, the Jehangir Art Gallery, the National Gallery of Modern Art, and The Arts Trust - Institute of Contemporary Indian Art. The area hosts the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival annually in February. Rahul Mehrotra is Founder Principal of architecture firm RMA Architects (founded in 1990 as Rahul Mehrotra Associates) of Mumbai + Boston, and is Professor of Urban Design and Planning and Chair of the Department of Urban Planning and Design at the Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He has been one of the activists behind the declaration of urban precincts as conservation areas in Mumbai and one of the founder members of the Kala Ghoda area rejuvenation movement, the restoration of the Oval Maidan, and the formulation of several citizens' associations in the historic Fort District in Mumbai. Sudhir Patwardhan is an Indian contemporary painter and a practising radiologist. Early life Patwardhan was born in Pune, Maharashtra in 1949. In 1972 he graduated in Medicine from the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. He moved to Mumbai in 1973 and worked as a radiologist in Thane from 1975 to 2005. NH7 Weekender is an annual, multi-city and multi-genre, music and comedy festival held in India. It is created by Only Much Louder (OML) and is among the largest South Asian arts festivals. It began in Pune, Maharashtra, India, as a three-day, multi-genre, music festival in 2010. Since 2012 it has expanded to multiple cities. In 2017, the lineup added comedy. Sydenham College of Economics is a college located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It is affiliated to the Dr. Homi Bhabha State University. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in management. It was awarded a re-accreditation 'A' grade and 3.42 GPA in the second cycle assessment conducted by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.
