Samantha Agazuma
Samantha Agazuma (born 14 July 1994) is a Nigerian cricketer and the current captain of the Nigeria women's cricket team. Agazuma first began to play cricket as a student at Ambrose Alli University. In January 2019, Agazuma was named in Nigeria's squad for their first ever Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) matches, against Rwanda. Agazuma made her WT20I debut on 26 January 2019, for Nigeria against Rwanda at the National Stadium in Abuja, but only scored one run. In May 2019, Agazuma was named in Nigeria's squad for the 2019 ICC Women's Qualifier Africa tournament in Zimbabwe. In September 2019, Agazuma was named captain of the Nigerian team for the first time, for the return leg of their bilateral tour against Rwanda. Women's Twenty20 International
Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) is the shortest form of women's international cricket. A women's Twenty20 International is a 20 overs-per-side cricket match between two of the International Cricket Council (ICC) members. The first Twenty20 International match was held in August 2004 between England and New Zealand, six months before the first Twenty20 International match was played between two men's teams. The ICC Women's World Twenty20, the highest-level event in the format, was first held in 2009. In April 2018, the ICC granted full Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status to all its members. Therefore, all Twenty20 matches played between two international sides after 1 July 2018 will be a full WT20I. 2019 ICC Women's Qualifier Africa
The 2019 ICC Women's Qualifier Africa was a cricket tournament that was held in Zimbabwe in May 2019. The matches in the tournament were played as Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is), with the top team progressing to both the 2019 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier and the 2021 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournaments. Uganda won the previous Africa qualifier tournament, when it was held in Windhoek in 2017. The fixtures took place at Harare Sports Club, Old Hararians and Takashinga Cricket Club in Harare. The teams in the Qualifier are split into two groups, with the winner of each group progressing to the final on 12 May 2019. All the squads were confirmed on 1 May 2019. 2021 Kwibuka Women's T20 Tournament
The 2021 Kwibuka Women's T20 Tournament was a women's Twenty20 International, women's T20I cricket (WT20I) tournament held in Rwanda from 6 to 12 June 2021. This was the seventh edition of the annual Kwibuka T20 Tournament, first organised 2014 in remembrance of the victims of the 1994 Rwandan genocide, genocide against the Tutsi. All matches were played at the Rwanda Cricket Stadium, Gahanga International Cricket Stadium in Kigali. Tanzania women's national cricket team, Tanzania won the 2019 Kwibuka Women's T20 Tournament, 2019 edition but did not defend the title this year. The 2020 edition of the tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Rwanda Women's National Cricket Team
The Rwanda women's national cricket team is the team that represents Rwanda in international women's cricket. History Rwanda's women's team first played in 2007, playing two matches against Uganda in December of that year, before participating in the 2008–09 East African Women's Championship. Since 2014 the country has hosted the Kwibuka T20 Tournament annually.
