Salvatore Tavano
Salvatore Tavano (born 13 March 1980 in Siracusa) is an Italian racing driver, winner of the TCR Italy Touring Car Championship 2018, 2019 and 2020 and who has had several seasons in the WTCC, ETCC and TCR Italy championships. Career After starting his competitive career in karting, Tavano spent two years in the Italian Formula 3 championship. He finished fourth in 1998 and third in 1999. In 2001 he participated in the European Formula 3000 championship, winning the Zolder race and closing the season. with fourth place in the overall standings. In 2005 he finished third in the Italian super-tourism championship. Since 2002 he has spent three years driving in the European Touring Car Championship. He participated in some rounds of the 2005 World Touring Championship for the DB Motorsport team. In 2006 he competed again in the WTCC for N. The Alfa Romeo 156 (Type 932) is a compact executive car produced by the Italian automobile manufacturer Alfa Romeo. It was introduced at the 1997 Frankfurt Motor Show as the replacement for the Alfa Romeo 155. The 156 received a positive reception and in the following year went on to win the 1998 European Car of the Year award. The 156 saloon was discontinued in Europe late in 2005, while the Q4 Crosswagon continued in production until the end of 2007. Cars were assembled at the Fiat Group factory in Pomigliano d'Arco, Italy and at a General Motors facility in Rayong, Thailand. FIA WTCC Race Of France
The FIA WTCR Race of France is a round of the World Touring Car Cup which was held at the Circuit Pau-Arnos in 2021 and at the Circuit de Pau-Ville in 2022. It was previously held at the Circuit Paul Ricard and the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours. In 2005 and 2006 it was run at Magny-Cours, before moving to Pau in 2007, when it became the main event in the Pau Grand Prix weekend. However, there was no French round in the 2010 season. After Citroën confirmed their entry into the 2014 season, Citroën Racing team principal Yves Matton suggested a French round would be a good idea. A French round returned to the calendar for 2014, this time held at the Circuit Paul Ricard. FIA WTCC Race Of Italy
The FIA WTCR Race of Italy is a round of the World Touring Car Championship that has taken place in Italy. It will be held at Vallelunga Circuit in 2022 season. In 2021, it was held at the extended version of Adria International Raceway. Before that, it was mostly held at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza in Monza near Milan, Lombardy. The Race of Italy was the first round of the WTCC after its return in 2005. It was held at Autodromo Nazionale di Monza between 2005 and 2008 before switching to the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola for 2009 in order to avoid clashing with the Formula One calendar. The 2005 FIA WTCC Race Of Mexico was the fifth round of the 2005 World Touring Car Championship season. It was held at the Autódromo Miguel E. Abed. Fabrizio Giovanardi won the first race from pole position for Alfa Romeo, and Peter Terting took his first and only WTCC win in the second race, which also turned out to be SEAT's second win.
