José Salomón Nazar Ordóñez (born 7 August 1952) is a retired Honduras, Honduran association football, football Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper who played for Honduras national football team, Honduras in the 1982 FIFA World Cup. Club career Nicknamed ''Turco'', Nazar played the majority of his career for Pumas UNAH, but also had two short spells at Club Deportivo Olimpia and F.C. Motagua. The FIFA World Cup qualification is a competitive match that a national association football team takes in order to qualify for one of the available berths at the final tournament of the (men's) FIFA World Cup. Qualifying tournaments are held within the six FIFA continental zones, each organized by their respective confederations: AFC (Asia), CAF (Africa), CONCACAF (North and Central America and the Caribbean), CONMEBOL (South America), OFC (Oceania), and UEFA (Europe). Club Deportivo Olimpia is a professional Honduran football club based in Tegucigalpa, Francisco Morazán. The club is the nation's most successful team both in the domestic league and in international club competitions.
