Salma Tarik Mohamed Abdelmotaleb Ahmed (born 22 November 1989) is an Egyptian international footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Egypt women's national football team. At the club level, she played for Smouha in Egypt. Early life and education Born in Cairo, Egypt, Tarik immigrated to the United States when she turned six. She began college at California State University Northridge. She then graduated from Hofstra University in Long Island, New York. She has twin older brothers and one younger brother. Playing career College Tarik started her college career at California State University Northridge in 2007. She was a starting player in 17 out of 18 games, and made 3 goals during this year. She then transferred to Hofstra University, where she played from 2008 to 2012. In her first year she played in every game, and tied for the most goals scored on her team. 2016 Africa Women Cup Of Nations
The 2016 Women's Africa Cup of Nations was the 12th edition of the biennial international football championship organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for the women's national teams of Africa. The tournament was held in Cameroon between 19 November and 3 December 2016. The initial dates were 8–22 October 2016, but were changed due to weather considerations. A total of eight teams played in the tournament. On 6 August 2015, the CAF Executive Committee decided to change the name of the tournament from the African Women's Championship to the Women's Africa Cup of Nations, similar to the men's version, Africa Cup of Nations. The Zimbabwe women's national football team is the national women's football team of Zimbabwe and is overseen by the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA). As of June 2017, they are ranked 86th in the world. Their first competitive international match was played in the 2000 African Women's Championship, when they drew against Uganda 2–2 on 11 November 2000. They actually were in the draw for the 1991 edition, but withdrew from the tournament before playing a match. Their best result in the African Women's Championship was fourth in 2000.
