Sal Villanueva
Salvatore Villanueva is an Italian-American record producer. Villaneuva's first entrance into the New York hardcore scene came when playing in bands including Demonspeed and Murphy's Law. He's currently the bassplayer for Joe Coffee, the new band of ex-Sheer Terror Vocalist Paul Bearer. Villanueva started producing during the boot camp recording sessions of the ''New York's Hardest'' compilation series done at the Big Blue Meenie Recording Studios. In the fall of 1999, Thursday's lead vocalist, Geoff Rickly, approached Villanueva to produce the band's ''Eyeball'' debut ''Waiting''. Since then he has produced almost all of the band's recordings, including '' War All the Time'' for Island/Def Jam. Following the success of Thursday's ''Full Collapse'', Victory Records approached Villanueva to work with and develop Long Island emo band, Taking Back Sunday. ''Tell All Your Friends'' is the debut studio album by American rock band Taking Back Sunday, released on March 26, 2002, through Victory Records. Established in 1999, the group underwent several line-up changes before settling on vocalist Adam Lazzara, guitarist and vocalist John Nolan, guitarist Eddie Reyes, bassist Shaun Cooper, and drummer Mark O'Connell. Taking Back Sunday released a five-song demo in early 2001, after which they toured the United States for most of the year. They rented a room in Lindenhurst, New York, where they wrote and demoed songs. Revelation Records
Revelation Records is an independent record label focusing originally and primarily on hardcore punk. The label is known for releases by bands such as Youth of Today, Warzone, Sick of It All, Quicksand, Side By Side, Chain of Strength, Shelter, Judge, No for an Answer, Gorilla Biscuits, and End of a Year. Revelation, along with the bands it put out in the late 1980s, is usually credited with creating and cementing the "youth crew" sound as well as New York hardcore, which bridged the gap from the earlier bands of almost a decade before and helped carry the music through the early 1990s. The Holiday Plan
The Holiday Plan are an English rock band from Hackney and Islington, London that split up in May 2005, but reformed in June 2006 (performing under a host of different names). Consisting of a bassist/vocalist Matt Rider, as well as two guitarists (Gary Jenkins and Blue Quinn) and drummer (Daniel Bodie), The Holiday Plan play melodic punk rock with dual-guitar parts, and could be classed as gruff punk. Five Stories Falling
''Five Stories Falling'' is a five-song EP released by Thursday in 2002. The first four tracks are live versions of songs from ''Full Collapse'', recorded while the band performed on the Vans Warped Tour. The fifth track, a new song named "Jet Black New Year", quickly became popular amongst fans; the song featured Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance performing screamed background vocals. ''Kill the House Lights'' is a compilation album by New Jersey rock group Thursday. Contents The name of the record derives from a lyric from the song "M. Shepard" from the band's 2003 album '' War All the Time''. The CD features five new songs, two live recordings, a couple of outtakes, and three demos.
