''Sakthi'' ( ta, சக்தி) is a Tamil soap opera on Sun TV. The show premiered on 2 June 2014. It is an adaptation of the Hindi serial '' Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava?''. The show stars Arnav and Manesha Chatarji. The show is produced by Cine Times Entertainment and directed by Sadhasivam Perumal. The show last aired on 27 March 2015. It also aired in Sri Lanka on the Tamil channel Shakthi TV. Sun Kudumbam Awards
The Sun Kudumbam Awards is an awards ceremony held to honour the cast and crew of the television serials which air on Sun TV, presented by Sun Network. This is the first time in the Tamil Television industry where awards are given for performances in Television serials. The first awards ceremony happened in 2010 and it is a biennial award ceremony. Nominations The top four performances in all serials, including the serials that have ended the past year, in different categories are chosen by jurors. During February and March, the nominees are interviewed on Sun TV and viewers are asked to cast their votes by text messaging their favourite actor in each category. The actor receiving the highest votes are proclaimed winner of the award in that category. Technical awards are given to backstage technicians, such as screenwriters and directors, by Sun Network and are not chosen by viewers. Mohan Sharma
Mohan Sharma is an Indian film and television actor, film producer, director and screenwriter, who works in South Indian films. He has produced more than 15 films in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada. He became noted through his role in '' Chattakari'' (1974). Background Mohan Sharma was born in Thathamangalam in Palakkad district, Kerala. His education was completed at Thathamangalam and Chitoor of Palaghat. Afterwards, he joined the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune and graduated in the acting course. He was the first South Indian to get that qualification in acting from the institute. He served three times as National Film Jury member and once as Indian Panorama Jury member. He fell in love with co-star Lakshmi on the sets of '' Chattakari'' and married her in 1975, but it ended in divorce in 1980. Later, he married Shanthi in 1982.
