Sayram Lake (; ; ) is a fresh water lake located near the border of Kazakhstan at the Tian Shan Mountains in Börtala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, China. The name Sayram originally derives from Kazakh, which means 'blessing'. Baicheng County () as the official romanized name, also transliterated from Uyghur as Bay County (pronounced like 'bye', , ;, United States National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency ), is a county in Aksu Prefecture of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, People's Republic of China.
