Saham SC
Saham Club ( ar, نادي صحم) is an Omani sports club based in Saham, Oman. The club is currently playing in the Oman Professional League, top division of Oman Football Association. Their home stadium is Sohar Regional Sports Complex. The stadium is government owned, but they also own their own personal stadium and sports equipments, as well as their own training facilities. History The club was founded on 24 April 1972 and registered on 26 June 2002. The club was promoted to the Omani League after winning the final of 2007-08 First Division League, where the club defeated Al-Shabab Club on penalties. The club caused a major upset when they beat 7-time Sultan Qaboos Cup winners, Dhofar in 2009, receiving their first ever Sultan Qaboos Cup title. Team Handball
Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. Oman Professional League Cup
The Oman Professional League Cup ( ar, كأس دوري المحترفين عمان) (known as the ''Mazda Professional Cup'' for sponsorship reasons), previously known as the Oman Federation Cup, is an Omani football competition. The first edition was played in 2007 and was known as the Oman FA Cup. The competition was not played again until 2012. The competition tends to feature all clubs currently playing in the top flight. The Professional League Cup ranks far below the prestigious Sultan Qaboos Cup in terms of domestic competitions. In 2014, ahead of the 2014-15 Oman Professional League Cup, it was announced by Oman Football Association that Mazda have agreed to sponsor the Professional League Cup and will henceforth be known as the Mazda Professional Cup, for a period of four years. The 2015–16 Sultan Qaboos Cup is the 43rd edition of the Sultan Qaboos Cup ( ar, كأس السلطان قابوس), the premier knockout tournament for football teams in Oman. The competition began on 23 October 2015 with the Qualification round. Al-Oruba SC were the defending champions, having won their fourth title in 2015. The 2009 Sultan Qaboos Cup was the 37th edition of the Sultan Qaboos Cup ( ar, كأس السلطان قابوس), the premier knockout tournament for football teams in Oman. The competition began on 25 September 2009 with the Round of 32 and concluded on 7 December 2009. Al-Suwaiq Club were the defending champions, having won their first title in 2008. On Monday 7 December 2009, Saham SC were crowned the champions of the 2009 Sultan Qaboos Cup when they defeated Dhofar S.C.S.C. 7–6 on penalties after the match had ended 2-2 after extra time, hence winning the title for the first time. Blue
Blue is one of the three primary colours in the RYB colour model (traditional colour theory), as well as in the RGB (additive) colour model. It lies between violet and cyan on the spectrum of visible light. The eye perceives blue when observing light with a dominant wavelength between approximately 450 and 495 nanometres.
