Sagarmatha Legends ( ne, सगरमाथा लेजेन्ड्स) is one of the franchise teams of the Nepal Premier League. It is currently captained by a Nepal national player Binod Bhandari. Everest Premier League (EPL) ( ne, एभरेष्ट प्रिमियर लिग) is a franchise Twenty20 cricket tournament organized by EPL Pvt. Ltd., a private group in Nepal run by Aamir Akhtar alongside his team including Kieran Holds and Jack Edmondson. It is the biggest cricket tournament in the country, played during the northern winter calendar, mostly in the month of December. It is played in round-robin format in which top four teams qualify for the playoffs. The tournament is renowned for having high attendance among the domestic cricket of the ICC associate nations. The first edition of the tournament was held in September 2016 with six franchises consisting of domestic and international players. Binod Bhandari
Binod Bhandari ( ne, विनोद भण्डारी; born 25 January 1990) is a Nepalese professional cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and an occasional wicket-keeper. He made his debut for Nepal against Kuwait in November 2009. He is also the captain of Tribhuwan Army Club in the National League and marquee player of Pokhara Rhinos in the Everest Premier League. Career Binod Bhandari had a very special start to his international career. Binod scored a last ball six to bring victory from jaws of defeat for Nepal in his debut match against Kuwait in 2009 ACC Twenty20 Cup. Mehboob Alam
Mehboob Alam ( ne, मेहबूब आलम) (born 31 August 1981) is a Nepalese cricketer. All-rounder Mehboob is a left-handed batsman and a left-arm fast bowler. He made his debut for Nepal against Japan in November 2000. Mehboob is a world record holder who has his name in the Guinness World Records for single-handedly bowling out an opponent, which he did by picking up 10 wickets for 12 runs in 7.5 overs bundling out Mozambique for just 19 runs during the 2008 ICC World Cricket League Division Five in Jersey. Paresh Prasad Lohani (born 19 August 1980) is a Nepalese cricketer. Paresh is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler. He made his debut for Nepal against United Arab Emirates in November 2000. He represents the Sagarmatha Legends of the Nepal Premier League, APF Club of the National League and GoldenGate International College, which plays in the SPA Cup. Playing career Born in Kathmandu in 1980, Lohani first played for Nepal in the 2000 ACC Trophy in the United Arab Emirates. Anil Kumar Mandal ( ne, अनिल कुमार मन्डल) (born 5 February 1991) is a Nepalese cricketer. Mandal is a right-handed opening batsman. He made his debut for Nepal against USA in February 2010. Anil Mandal became the fifth Nepalese cricketer to score an international century, when he slammed 113 off 134 balls against Denmark during the 2012 ICC World Cricket League Division Four in September 2012. He is the only Nepalese player to score two centuries for Nepal in international cricket.
