Paresh Lohani
Paresh Prasad Lohani (born 19 August 1980) is a Nepalese cricketer. Paresh is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler. He made his debut for Nepal against United Arab Emirates in November 2000. He represents the Sagarmatha Legends of the Nepal Premier League, APF Club of the National League and GoldenGate International College, which plays in the SPA Cup. Playing career Born in Kathmandu in 1980, Lohani first played for Nepal in the 2000 ACC Trophy in the United Arab Emirates. He played matches against the UAE, Japan, the Maldives and Hong Kong during the tournament. He played in the 2001 ICC Trophy in Ontario, Canada the following year. He played in the ACC Trophy again in 2002 and 2004, making his first-class début in the latter year when he played in the 2004 ICC Intercontinental Cup against the UAE and Malaysia. Japan National Cricket Team
The Japan national cricket team is the men's team that represents the country of Japan in international cricket. The team is organised by the Japan Cricket Association (JCA), which has been a member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1989. The 2005 ICC Intercontinental Cup was the second edition of the ICC Intercontinental Cup, a cricket competition for (then) 12 nations from Asia, Africa, North America and Europe. All the games were scheduled for three days and were designated first-class cricket, first class. The teams played each other team in each of the four groups once. The Qatar national cricket team is the team that represents Qatar in international cricket. The team is organised by the Qatar Cricket Association, which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 1999 and an associate member in 2017. The 2005 ICC Trophy was a cricket tournament held in Ireland between 1 July and 13 July 2005. It was an international one-day tournament played over 50 overs per side between 12 Associate Members of the International Cricket Council. 2007 Cricket World Cup Qualification
The 2007 Cricket World Cup was contested between 16 of the 97 countries that were members of the International Cricket Council at the time. The ACC Fast Track Countries Tournament was a three-day cricket tournament run by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), contested between its top-ranking ICC associate members. It was played three times between 2004 and 2006, and then replaced by the ACC Twenty20 Cup. Some matches in the second edition of the tournament held first-class status, as they were simultaneously ICC Intercontinental Cup matches. 2004/05 tournament Hong Kong, the UAE and Nepal all qualified for the 2005 ICC Intercontinental Cup as a result of their top three finish in the tournament. First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all.
