Sagar Karia
Sagar Rohit Karia (born 3 June 1988) is a Kenyan former first-class cricketer. Karia was born at Mombasa in June 1988. He made what would be his only appearance in first-class cricket for Kenya Select against Zimbabwe A at Harare in 2007. Batting twice in the match, he was dismissed for 11 runs in the Kenyan first innings by Keith Dabengwa, while in their second innings he was dismissed for the same score by Timycen Maruma. He played his club cricket for Mombasa Sports Club, making a century for the club in 2017. His brother, Ashish Ashish or Aashish is a male given name. This name is most common in India and Nepal. Harare Sports Club is a sports club and the Harare Sports Club Ground is a cricket stadium in Harare, Zimbabwe. Founded in 1900 and known as Salisbury Sports Club until 1982, it is mostly used for cricket matches, and has served as the primary cricket venue in Rhodesia and Zimbabwe since its foundation. The Standard (Kenya)
''The Standard'' is one of the largest newspapers in Kenya with a 48% market share. It is the oldest newspaper in the country and is owned by The Standard Group, which also runs the Kenya Television Network (KTN), Radio Maisha, ''The Nairobian'' (a weekly tabloid), KTN News and Standard Digital which is its online platform. Mombasa Sports Club
Mombasa Sports Club (MSC) is multi-sport club based in Mombasa, Kenya. It also owns sporting facilities. The club was established in 1896, and it is among the oldest sporting clubs in Kenya. Cricket Mombasa Sports Club has a cricket team taking part in the Coast Cricket Association competitions. Cricket ground The Mombasa Sports Club ground is the only fully accredited ODI Cricket ground in Kenya outside of Nairobi. Timycen Maruma
Timycen Maruma (born 19 April 1988) is a Zimbabwean international cricketer. Beginning his cricketing career as a leg-spinner, he shifted his role to an all-rounder. In 2008, he scored his maiden first-class half-century (71) against a strong Pakistani representative team. Maruma had his best first-class season to date in 2007 when he teamed up with fellow spinner Prosper Utseya to help Easterns province lift the Logan Cup. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut against South Africa in 2007. He went on to make his Test debut as an opening batsman for Zimbabwe against Bangladesh in 2013. In September 2018, he was named in Zimbabwe's squad for the 2018 Africa T20 Cup tournament. He was the leading run-scorer in the 2018–19 Logan Cup, with 409 runs in six matches. Keith Dabengwa
Keith Mbusi Dabengwa (born 17 August 1980) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He was appointed head coach of the Denmark national cricket team in October 2021. Dabengwa is an all-rounder who made his First class debut for Matabeleland in 2000, taking 5 for 76, he then spent a season at the CFX Academy. He continued without many spectacular performances but in 2004/05 he got selected in Zimbabwe A squad for their tours of Namibia and Bangladesh. In the first match against Bangladesh A he took five wickets and scored 50 not out. In 2005 Dabengwa scored his highest first class score of 161 against Midlands, his only century to date. Following this, he gained a place in the national squad and made his test debut against New Zealand in Bulawayo taking two wickets for 87 runs and scoring 21 runs starting his test account by scoring a six. Coast Province
The Coast Province ( sw, Mkoa wa Pwani) of Kenya, along the Indian Ocean, was one of Kenya's eight provinces. It comprises the Indian Ocean coastal strip with the capital city at Mombasa and was inhabited by the Mijikenda and Swahili, among others. First-class Cricket
First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. The etymology of "first-class cricket" is unknown, but it was used loosely before it acquired official status in 1895, following a meeting of leading English clubs.
