Saerom Animation, Inc. () is an animation studio located in Seoul, South Korea founded in 1987 by Gilhwan Kim. While it mainly animates shows from American animation studios, the company started making its own cartoons in 2003. AKOM
AKOM Production, Ltd. (Animation Korea Movie; ) is a South Korean animation studio in Songpa-gu, Seoul that has provided much work since its conception in 1985 by Nelson Shin. It is most notable for the overseas animation of more than 200 episodes of ''The Simpsons'', a total which continues to increase. In 2007, the studio produced a portion of the overseas animation for ''The Simpsons Movie''. ''Hey Arnold!'' is an American animated sitcom created by Craig Bartlett for Nickelodeon. It originally aired from October 7, 1996, to June 8, 2004. The show centers on fourth grader Arnold Shortman, who lives with his grandparents in an inner-city tenement in the fictional city of Hillwood. Episodes center on his experiences navigating urban life while dealing with the zany hijinks he and his friends encounter. Many episodes, however, focus on other characters, including major, secondary, supporting, and even minor characters. Bartlett's idea for the show is based on a minor character named Arnold who he created while working on '' Pee-wee's Playhouse''. The executives enjoyed the character, and Bartlett completed the cast and setting by drawing inspiration from people and locations he grew up with in Seattle, Washington; Portland, Oregon; and Brooklyn, New York. Sunbow Entertainment (formerly known as Sunbow Productions until 1995) was an American animation studio and distributor, founded on June 23, 1980, and owned until May 4, 1998, by Griffin-Bacal Advertising in New York City and in the United States. ''Salty's Lighthouse'' is an animated television series for preschoolers, produced by Sunbow Entertainment in association with the Bank Street College of Education in New York. Debuting in syndication in late 1997, and picked up by Discovery Communications for U.S. broadcast that December, it aired from March 30 to June 26, 1998 on TLC's '' Ready Set Learn!'' block. The show centers on a young boy named Salty, as he plays and learns with his friends in a magical lighthouse. ''The Incredible Hulk'' is an American animated television series starring the Marvel Comics character the Hulk. It aired for two seasons (21 episodes) on UPN from 1996 to 1997. Lou Ferrigno, who portrayed the Hulk on the live-action TV series from 1978 to 1982, provided the Hulk's voice. The show often featured cameo appearances by characters from other Marvel cartoons of the period.
