Sae Eun Park
Sae Eun Park(Korean: 박세은, Bak Se Eun) (born December 1989) is a South Korean ballet dancer. Following stints at ABT II and Korea National Ballet in her early career, she joined the Paris Opera Ballet in 2011. She is the company's first Korean female full-time member. In 2021, she became the first dancer from Asia to reach the rank of ''étoile'' at the company. Early life Park was born in Seoul in December 1989. She started ballet at 10, and studied at Korea National University of Arts. She was mainly trained in the Vaganova method, before Kim Yong-geol, a former Korean Paris Opera Ballet dancer and a professor at the university introduced her to the French style. In 2006, she won the silver medal in the junior division USA International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Mississippi. Kim Joo-won
Kim Joo-won (Hangul, 김주원; born 8 May 1977) is a South Korean prima ballerina who has danced for 15 years with the Korean National Ballet (KNB). In 2012, she curtailed her formal membership of the troupe to branch out on her own. Biography Born in Busan, Kim began to study ballet when she was 12, completing her training at the Bolshoi Ballet School in 1998. The same year she joined the Korean National Ballet where she soon gained the distinction of prima ballerina. Kim has contributed significantly to Korean ballet taking leading roles in '' Giselle'', '' Swan Lake'', ''Don Quixote'' and Jean-Christophe Maillot's '' Romeo and Juliet''. The Prix de Lausanne is an international dance competition held annually in Lausanne, Switzerland. Prix Benois De La Danse Winners
The Benois de la Danse is a ballet competition held annually in Moscow. Founded by the International Dance Association in 1991, it takes place each year on or around April 29 and it's judged by a jury. The members of this jury change every year and it consists of only top ballet personages.
