Sadegh Nojouki ( fa, صادق نوجوکی; born February 11, 1950 in Tehran) is a famous Iranian musician, composer, arranger, and pianist of Persian classical and pop music. He is credited for the use of string orchestra and piano for first time in Iranian pop music. He currently resides in Los Angeles, United States. Tehran (; fa, تهران ) is the largest city in Tehran Province and the capital of Iran. Moein (singer)
Nasrollah Moein ( fa, نصرالله معین), more commonly known as Moein ( fa, معین, ), is an Iranian singer. Moein was born in Najafabad, a city in Isfahan Province of Iran. He began his artistic caree as a radio singer and released several albums before ''Miparastam'' in 1983, which was his first album to be widely noticed in Iran. The name of this album was ''Ghazal''. In recent years, Moein has become widely acclaimed in Iran and he has played concerts all around the globe. He is referred to as "Javdan Sedaye Eshgh," which translates to "The Eternal Voice of Love". He has two daughters, Paricheh and Setareh. Faegheh Atashin ( fa, فائقه آتشین; born 5 May 1950), known professionally as Googoosh ( fa, گوگوش, ), is an Iranian singer and former actress. One of the most popular and prolific entertainers in Iran, her career has spanned over six decades. Googoosh has enjoyed significant popularity since the beginning of her career, ultimately becoming a cultural icon inside Iran and abroad. She is mainly known for her contributions to Iranian pop music, but she also starred in a variety of Persian movies from the 1950s to the 1970s. She achieved the pinnacle of her fame and success towards the end of the 1970s. In the 1970s, Googoosh was widely emulated by Iranian women, as they copied her clothing (miniskirts) and her short haircut (known as the "Googooshi"). Leila Forouhar ( fa, لیلا فروهر, ''Leilâ Foruhar'') (born 23 February 1959) is an Iranian pop and classical singer. She was a child star, acting from the age of 3. She relocated to next door Turkey in 1986, then to Paris, before emigrating to Los Angeles in 1988. Career Leila is the daughter of the late Iranian actor Jahangir Forouhar.
