ITF Women's Circuit
The ITF Women's World Tennis Tour, previously known as the ITF Women's Circuit, is a series of professional tennis tournaments run by the International Tennis Federation for female professional tennis players. History It serves as a developmental circuit for the WTA Tour, which is run by the independent Women's Tennis Association (WTA). There are several hundred ITF Women's Circuit tournaments each year, spread across all six inhabited continents, with prize money ranging from US$15,000 to US$100,000. Michèle Sjögren-Strebel (born 24 April 1970) is a Swiss former professional tennis player. Strebel reached a best singles ranking of 217 in the world and was ranked as high as 128 in doubles. She twice appeared in the main-draw French Open women's doubles, in 1989 and 1991, with her best performance coming in the latter where she and partner Manuela Maleeva made the second round. Irina Spîrlea (born 26 March 1974) is a retired tennis player from Romania who turned professional in 1990. She won four singles and six doubles titles. Spîrlea reached her career-high ranking on the WTA Tour on 13 October 1997, when she became No. 7 in the world. She retired in 2000. Biography Bielsa competed in two Fed Cup, Federation Cup ties for Spain, both in the 1985 Federation Cup (tennis), 1985 edition, as the doubles partner of Ana Almansa. The pair won the deciding doubles rubber against Hong Kong Fed Cup team, Hong Kong, to advance to a second round fixture against Australia Fed Cup team, Australia, which they and their teammates lost 0–3.
