''Saattai'' () is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by M. Anbazhagan. The film features Samuthirakani, Yuvan, Mahima Nambiar and Thambi Ramaiah in pivotal roles. The film's soundtrack and background score were composed by D. Imman. The shooting took place in NLC and Thiruvannamalai. ''Adutha Saattai'' () is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language action drama film which is a sequel to ''Saattai'' (2012), written and directed by M. Anbazhagan. The film is the third installment in the ''Saattai'' franchise. It stars Samuthirakani and Thambi Ramaiah with Athulya Ravi, debutant Kaushik Sundaram, and Yuvan in supporting roles. D. Yuvan is an Indian actor, who has appeared in Tamil language films. The son of director Feroze Khan, he made a breakthrough appearing in M. Anbazhagan's ''Saattai'' (2012). Career The son of director Feroze Khan, Yuvan was keen to work in films and worked as an assistant director in his father's '' Thambi Arjuna'' (2010).
