SV Türkspor Bremen-Nord is a German association football club from the district of Blumenthal in the city of Bremen. It was founded by Turkish immigrants. History The club was established in 1977. The club won its way into the Landesliga Bremen (V) in 2004, and after finishing as runners-up in 2008, advanced to the Bremen-Liga (VI). The team's best result there to date was a 6th-place finish in 2010. After finishing last in the league in 2014–15, the club was relegated from the Bremen-Liga. Burgwall-Stadion
The Burgwall-Stadion is a football stadium in the northernmost part of the German city of Bremen. The Burgwall Stadium is the competition and training facility of the Blumenthaler SV, the district sports facility at Burgwall, which includes the stadium, three football pitches and a hall. Since the opening game against SV Werder Bremen on September 9, 1951, the Blumenthalers regularly play their home games here. History The facility was built in the early 1950s and on the 9th September 1951 with a friendly match between Blumenthaler SV and Werder Bremen. Blumenthaler SV played for four years in the then third-class Oberliga Nord and one year in the fourth-class Oberliga Niedersachsen/Bremen. The Landesliga Bremen is the sixth tier of the German football league system and the second-highest league in the Germany, German States of Germany, state of Bremen, below the ''Bremen-Liga''. Overview The ''Landesliga Bremen'' is the second-highest level of play in Bremen. Traditionally, the league is set below the ''Verbandsliga Bremen''. With the ''Oberliga Nord'' being dissolved in 2008, the ''Verbandsliga'' was renamed ''Bremen-Liga''. This however did not change anything in regards of the ''Landesliga''. Of the German tier-six leagues, the ''Landesliga Bremen'', like its association, the ''Bremen FA'', is unique as it covers the smallest region and has no league parallel to itself, being the only league at this level in the state.
