SV Someren
SV Someren is an amateur football club from Someren, Netherlands. Their home games are played at sports park ''De Potacker.'' History The club was founded on April 27, 1944. In 1945 it received official recognition from the KNVB and started playing in the tweede klasse Noord-Brabant and in 1947 where promoted into eerste afdelingsklasse. In 1957 it where promoted into the Vierde Klasse for the first time. In 1994 Someren where promoted to the Eerste Klasse in 1996 it went back into the Tweede Klasse but where promoted back into the Eerste Klasse as unbeaten champions in 2002. From that year it played in the Eerste Klasse D district South II until 2009-2010. In the 2010-2011 season, it played in the Tweede Klasse H and where it were promoted again to the Eerste Klasse. In the following season it was promoted again to the Hoofdklasse after a season, where it finished rock bottom, it returned to the Eerste Klasse. Someren
Someren () is a municipality and town in the province of North Brabant in the Southern Netherlands. As of January 2019, the municipality had 19,322 inhabitants, with over half of the population residing in the town. Someren, just south of Helmond and to the north of Weert, Limburg, is located on the provincial border with Limburg. The Tweede Klasse ( en, Second Class) is the seventh tier of football in the Netherlands and the fifth tier of Dutch amateur football. Hoofdklasse (women)
The Hoofdklasse is the second highest league of amateur women's football in the Netherlands, and the third tier in general. When the Hoofdklasse was created in 1973, the league was the top level league of the Netherlands, and the winner was named the national champion. After the 2006/07 season, the professional Eredivisie was established as the top level league which now plays out the championship. There was no relegation and promotion between those two leagues. In the 2011/12 season the Hoofdklasse became a third level league, as above it the Topklasse was created. The Hoffdklasse thus is the second highest amateur league and now promotes teams to the Topklasse. Format From 1973 to 1994, the Hoofdklasse was Championship Playoff between regional champions. The Eerste Klasse ( en, First Class) started as the 1st tier of football in the Netherlands and is now the 6th tier. The league is divided into eleven divisions, six for Saturday clubs and five for Sunday clubs. The Vierde Divisie, formerly known as Hoofdklasse () is the second-highest league of amateur football in the Netherlands, and the fifth tier in general. Background The league is divided into two sections: Saturday and Sunday. This is a result of the traditional pillarisation ( nl, verzuiling), the segregation of Dutch society. The ''Saturday'' clubs are mainly Protestant Christian clubs, who were not allowed to play on Sunday. The ''Sunday'' clubs were in general Catholic and working class clubs, whose players had to work on Saturday and therefore could only play on Sunday. The 2012–13 season of the Hoofdklasse is competed in six leagues, three Saturday leagues and three Sunday leagues. The champions of each group promoted direct to the 2013–14 Topklasse. NWC Asten
NWC Asten (abbreviation for ''Noad Wilhelmina Combinatie'') is an association football club from Asten, Netherlands. Its home games are played at ''Sportpark 't Root''. NWC's first squad plays in the 2021–22 season in the Tweede Klasse Sunday South II. History 20th century The club was founded on 19 May 1928. It originally played at 'De Bosplak'. In 1940, NWC joined the Vierde Klasse of the NVB. Until 2005, NWC Asten mostly hovered between the Vierde and Derde Klasse. Exceptions were: 1944–45, when there was no competition; 1957–64, 1974–88, and 1989–90, when it played outside the national league system; and 2002–03, when it played in the Vijfde Klasse.
