SV Salamander Türkheim
The SV Salamander Türkheim is a German association football club from the town of Türkheim, Bavaria. The club spent almost its entire history as an amateur side in the leagues of the Schwaben football league system. ''Salamander's'' most notable moment came in 1979 when, after having won the Schwaben Cup and qualified for the first round of the German Cup, the team met Bonner SC and lost 4–0 in Bonn. In the same season, the side earned promotion to the tier-four Landesliga Bayern-Süd but lasted for only one season at this level and has remained within the leagues of Schwaben ever since. The BSK Olympia Neugablonz is a Football in Germany, German association football club from the Neugablonz suburb of the city of Kaufbeuren, Bavaria. The DFB-Pokal ( is a German knockout Association football, football cup competition held annually by the German Football Association (DFB). Sixty-four teams participate in the competition, including all clubs from the Bundesliga and the 2. Bundesliga. In sports leagues, promotion and relegation is a process where teams are transferred between multiple divisions based on their performance for the completed season. Leagues that use promotion and relegation systems are often called open leagues. In a system of promotion and relegation, the best-ranked team(s) in the lower division are ''promoted'' to the higher division for the next season, and the worst-ranked team(s) in the higher division are ''relegated'' to the lower division for the next season. The Bayernliga (English: Bavarian league) is the highest amateur football league and the second highest football league (under the Regionalliga Bayern) in the state of Bavaria (german: Bayern) and the Bavarian football league system. It is one of fourteen Oberligas in German football, the fifth tier of the German football league system. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the fourth tier of the league system, until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the third tier. The Landesliga Bayern sits at step 6 of the German football league system and is the third highest level in the Bavarian football league system, below the Bayernliga and organised in five regional divisions.
