STARD (Stohl Advanced Research and Development) is an auto racing team founded in 2016 by Austrian racing driver Manfred Stohl. The team supplies Ford Fiestas for the World Rallycross Championship and the Kia Cee'd for TCR-specification series. They are also developing the first electric rallycross cars. Manfred Stohl
Manfred Stohl (born 7 July 1972, in Vienna) is an Austrian rally driver who debuted in the World Rally Championship in 1991. Stohl's co-driver is fellow Austrian Ilka Minor. Career Stohl ventured into rallying following the career path of his father Rudi Stohl. Stohl's first professional rally was the 1991 Rallye Côte d'Ivoire Bandama, driving an Audi 90 Quattro with Kay Gerlach as his co-driver. He took his first World Rally Championship points by finishing seventh in the same event the following year. After several more privateer entries in the WRC, Stohl got a contract with Team Mitsubishi Ralliart Germany to compete in the FIA Cup for Drivers of Production Cars (now the Production World Rally Championship) driving a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. He finished third in the championship in 1997, second in 1998 and fourth in 1999, before winning the title in 2000 ahead of defending champion Gustavo Trelles. 2017 World RX Of Sweden
The 2017 World RX of Sweden, formally known as the 2017 Swecon World RX of Sweden, for sponsorship reasons, was the seventh round of the fourth season of the FIA World Rallycross Championship. The event was held at the Höljesbanan in the village of Höljes, Värmland and also hosted round six of the European Rallycross Championship and round four of the RX2 International Series, the main support category for the World Rallycross Championship. Timur Renatovich Timerzyanov (russian: Тиму́р Рена́тович Тимерзя́нов; born 31 January 1987) is a Russian rallycross driver, currently competing in the FIA World Rallycross Championship. He has won the European Rallycross Division 1A Championship in 2010 with SET Promotion and the European Rallycross Division Supercar Championship in 2012 and 2013 with Hansen Motorsport.
