State Route 115 (SR-115) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah, connecting Payson and Spanish Fork by way of Benjamin in southwestern Utah County. Running for as a two-lane highway, the road runs from SR-198 in Payson north to Benjamin, before heading west toward Spanish Fork and terminating at SR-156. The road was placed under state jurisdiction in the 1930s. Route description State Route 115 begins on Main Street at the intersection of 100 North (SR-198) in Payson. Heading north, the route exits the town and intersects Interstate 15/U.S. Route 6 (I-15/US-6) within . Past I-15/US-6, the road exits the street grid of Payson and enters that of Utah County's, becoming 3200 West. Payson is a city in Utah County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Provo–Orem Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 21,101 at the 2020 census. History Pioneers from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints led by James Edward Pace Jr. first settled what is now Payson, Utah. On Sunday, October 20, 1850, Pace with his family and the families of John Courtland Searle and Andrew Jackson Stewart, totaling 16 settlers in all, arrived at their destination on Peteetneet Creek. The settlement was originally named Peteetneet Creek, after which Chief Peteetneet was named. Benjamin is a census-designated place (CDP) in Utah County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Provo–Orem Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 1,145 at the 2010 census. History The first settlement at Benjamin was made ''circa'' 1860. A post office called Benjamin was established in 1892, and remained in operation until 1902. The community has the name of Benjamin F. Stewart, a first settler. The entire length of the route is an old routing of US-6 and US-50; a portion of the route was also US-91.
