Sun Protection Factor
Sunscreen, also known as sunblock or sun cream, is a photoprotective topical product for the skin that mainly absorbs, or to a much lesser extent reflects, some of the sun's ultraviolet (UV) radiation and thus helps protect against sunburn and most importantly prevent skin cancer. Sunscreens come as lotions, sprays, gels, foams (such as an expanded foam lotion or whipped lotion), sticks, powders and other topical products. Sunscreens are common supplements to clothing, particularly sunglasses, sunhats and special sun protective clothing, and other forms of photoprotection (such as umbrellas). The first sunscreen in the world was invented in Australia, by chemist H.A. Milton Blake, in 1932 formulating with the UV filter 'salol' (phenyl salicylate) at a concentration of 10%. Springfield Railway Station (Scotland)
Springfield railway station serves the village of Springfield in Fife, Scotland. The station has two platforms and is unstaffed. Services are operated by ScotRail. History The station was opened in 1847 by the Edinburgh and Northern Railway and was likely designed by David Bell, an architect who worked on the railway and is credited with the design of other stations in the area. To the west of the station, the Cults and Pitlessie Lime Works industrial spur line met the mainline at Cults siding, allowing access to the Cults and Pitlessie Lime Works and Pitlessie Maltings to the south. In 1947 this line was closed. Remnants of the railway, including a number of bridges, can be found on the Crawford Priory Estate. Services Only a few trains are scheduled to stop at Springfield station. On Mondays to Saturdays - in the May 2021 timetable, 3 northbound and 2 southbound trains call. There is no Sunday service. Sherwood Park Freeway is a freeway that connects east Edmonton to Sherwood Park in Alberta, Canada. It begins in the Gainer Industrial area where Argyll Road and 82 (Whyte) Avenue merge before intersecting 50 Street. It then curves slightly northeast through industrial areas in southeast Edmonton across 34 Street into Strathcona County, then across 17 Street after which the freeway ends at Anthony Henday Drive. It then continues into Sherwood Park as Wye Road ( Highway 630). It is primarily a commuter route, with heavier weekday volume westbound in the morning and eastbound in the afternoon as residents of Sherwood Park commute to Edmonton. The Summer Play Festival (SPF) was a theatre festival held in New York, USA. Description The annual four-week Summer Play Festival took place during the summer months at the Public Theater in New York City. It was founded by Broadway producer Arielle Tepper Madover and staged new plays and musicals by emerging writers. The first Summer Play Festival was presented in 2004, introducing a $10 ticket price that was a key feature of the event for its entire run. The Survey of Professional Forecasters (SPF) is a quarterly survey of macroeconomic forecasts for the economy of the United States issued by the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. It is the oldest such survey in the United States. The survey includes an "anxious index" that estimates the probability of a decline in real GDP. The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia took over the survey in 1990.
