SM U-78
SM ''U-78'' was one of the 329 submarines serving in the Imperial German Navy in World Wa''r I''. ''U-78'' was engaged in the naval warfare and took part in the First Battle of the Atlantic as a minelayer. On 27 October 1918 low frequency communications from ''U-78 i''n the Skagerrak were detected by the British submarine which sank her with the loss of her crew of 40. The commonly listed sinking date of 28 October 1918 is in error. The wreck has been identified in April 2014. The Minch ( gd, An Cuan Sgitheanach, ', ', '), also called North Minch, is a strait in north-west Scotland, separating the north-west Highlands and the northern Inner Hebrides from Lewis and Harris in the Outer Hebrides. SS ''Rastrello'' was an Italian cargo ship that was sunk in a British air raid on 16 June 1940 in Naples, Italy. Construction ''Rastrello'' was built at the Irvine's Shipbuilding & Drydock Co. Ltd. shipyard in Hartlepool, United Kingdom in January 1904. Where she was launched and completed that same year. The ship was long, had a beam of and had a depth of .
