SK Slovan-Hütteldorfer AC
Sportklub Slovan Hütteldorfer Athletikclub Wien is an Austrian football club located in Hütteldorf, Vienna, Austria. History Sk Slovan HAC was founded on 11 January 1902 as '' Sportovni Klub Slovan ve Vídni'' - better known as ''SK Slovan'' - by the Czech minority in Vienna. They were promoted to the Austrian First Division in 1923, and built a new stadium - the České srdce (now known as the ''Generali Arena''). The stadium was so large that it caused the club financial problems. The club was relegated in 1928/29 season, but was in the first division again in 1930. They again achieved promotion to the first division in 1949/50 as ''AC Sparta''. In 1960, the club merged with ''ÖMV Olympia 33'' and the club was known as ''SK Slovan-Olympia''. Hütteldorf (; Central Bavarian: ''Hittldorf'') is a part of Vienna's 14th district, Penzing. It is located in the west of Vienna, in the geographical center of the district, stretching roughly from ''Deutschordenstraße'' (which forms the border to Baumgarten) in the east to ''Wolf in der Au'' in the west, where Hütteldorf borders Hadersdorf-Weidlingau. The Austrian Cup (german: ÖFB-Cup), known as UNIQA ÖFB Cup for sponsorship purposes, is an annual football competition held by the Austrian Football Association, the ÖFB. During the 2008–09 season, Austria Wien won the tournament for 27th time, a record. Red Bull Salzburg are the current holders, winning the 2021-2022 tournament, making it their 8th successive win in the tournament and their 9th overall. The Franz Horr Stadium, formally known as Generali Arena for sponsorship reasons and Viola Park for international matches, is a football stadium in the south of Vienna, Austria. It has been the home ground of FK Austria Wien since 1973. The stadium was built in 1925 as the new home of Czech immigrants' club SK Slovan and had a capacity of 10,850. Named after another Czech football club which owned the ground, the stadium was called České srdce ("Czech heart") ground. Largely destroyed during World War II, each of the four stands has been reconstructed several times since. The stadium was renamed Franz-Horr-Stadion in honour of the Wiener Fußball-Verband's (Vienna Football Association) president Franz Horr, who died in 1974. The city of Vienna, Austria is home to a long-established Czech population. During the time of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in the late 1800s and early 1900s, Czechs were the largest non-German speaking population in Vienna.
