SJPF Segunda Liga Player Of The Month
The SJPF Segunda Liga Player of the Month (often called Second League Player of the Month) is an association football award that recognizes the best Segunda Liga player each month of the season and is conceived by the SJPF (syndicate of professional football players). The award has been presented since the 2010–11 Liga de Honra, 2010–11 season and the recipient is based on individual scores assigned by the three national sports dailies, ''A Bola'', ''Record (newspaper), Record'', and ''O Jogo''. Miguel Rosa has won the award most on different eight occasions. Prior to the start 2012–13 Segunda Liga season, the SJPF announced that the SJPF Segunda Liga Player of the Month award would be awarded to a player on a bimonthly status with one player receiving an award for two months of football that have been played. Ricardo Sousa
Ricardo André de Pinho Sousa (born 11 January 1979) is a Portuguese football manager and former player who played as an attacking midfielder. He amassed Primeira Liga totals of 154 matches and 47 goals over seven seasons, representing in the competition Porto, Beira-Mar, Santa Clara, Belenenses and Boavista. He scored the only goal of the 1999 Taça de Portugal final for Beira-Mar, and also competed professionally in Germany, the Netherlands, Cyprus and Slovenia. Paulo Jorge Pedro Lopes (born 29 June 1978) is a Portuguese former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. A former goalkeeping coach of Benfica, he is the current head coach of Benfica's under-23 team. Hélder Bruno Macedo Sousa (born 13 October 1977) is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Born in Matosinhos, Sousa started his career with amateurs Padroense F.C. in 1997.
