Marinho (footballer, Born 1983)
Mário Rui Correia Tomás (born 26 April 1983), known as Marinho, is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a winger. He spent most of his career with Naval and Académica, totalling 209 Primeira Liga games and 23 goals between them and scoring the only goal as the latter won the Taça de Portugal in 2012. He added 103 appearances and 11 goals in LigaPro, for Académica and Fátima. Club career After unsuccessfully emerging through Sporting CP's youth system, Lisbon-born Marinho went on to play in the lower leagues until 2006, with União Sport Clube, U.D. Vilafranquense and C.D. Olivais e Moscavide. In 2006 he signed with C.D. Fátima, scoring ten goals in 29 matches in his first season to help the club to promote to the Segunda Liga. The Taça da Liga (), known outside Portugal as Portuguese League Cup, is an annual football club competition organised by the Liga Portuguesa de Futebol Profissional (LPFP) for teams competing in the Primeira Liga and LigaPro, the top two tiers of Portuguese football. The Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira (; English: Cândido de Oliveira Super Cup, or simply Portuguese Super Cup) is an annual Portuguese football match played since 1979 between the winners of the Portuguese League (Primeira Liga) and Portuguese Cup (Taça de Portugal). César Peixoto
Paulo César Silva Peixoto (born 12 May 1980) is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played mainly as a left midfielder but occasionally as a left-back, currently manager of F.C. Paços de Ferreira. He amassed Primeira Liga totals of 205 matches and 25 goals over 13 seasons, representing in the competition Belenenses, Porto, Vitória de Guimarães, Braga, Benfica and Gil Vicente. João Daniel Mendes Real (born 13 May 1983) is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a central defender. He made 211 competitive appearances over eight years for Académica, where he won the Taça de Portugal in 2012. He additionally represented Naval in Primeira Liga and Covilhã in LigaPro, totalling 122 and 115 games in each division.
