SG Braunschweig
SG Braunschweig is a basketball club based in Braunschweig, Germany. History The team was formed in 1978 as a cooperation between the basketball sections of the clubs FT Braunschweig and MTV Braunschweig. In 2000–01 the club passed its Basketball Bundesliga license to the newly founded team Metabox Braunschweig (now known as Basketball Löwen Braunschweig), and since then functions as a farm team for the Bundesliga side. From 2007 on, the team competed under the name ''Spot Up Medien Baskets Braunschweig'' for sponsorship reasons. In 2014, the name was changed into ''DRUFF! Baskets Braunschweig''. From 2007 to 2015, SG Braunschweig played in the ProB league, the German third division. After the 2014–15, the club sold its ProB license to the Artland Dragons. Instead, the club entered into a cooperation with MTV Herzöge Wolfenbüttel.

ProB
The ProB is the third-tier level league of professional club basketball in Germany. The league comprises 24 teams, separated into a Northern and a Southern Division. Officially, the ProB is part of the ''2. Basketball Bundesliga'', which consists of the two hierarchical leagues ''ProA'' and ''ProB''. Before the 2007–08 season, the ''2. Basketball Bundesliga'' was a basketball league with the same name, which consisted of two geographical divisions. At the end of the league stage, the winning team of the playoffs in each division, qualify for the ProA, and the teams positioned in 9th place and lower, fight in the play-downs, for the whereabouts in the league. Stephen Olumide Arigbabu (born 15 February 1972) is a German professional basketball coach and former player. He is 2.08 m (6 ft 10 in) tall. Arigbabu played at the center position. Igors Miglinieks (born 4 May 1964) is a retired Soviet and Latvian professional basketball player and coach. He played at the point guard and shooting guard positions. Professional club playing career Miglinieks was a member of the World Basketball League's Erie Wave in 1990. Miglinieks was also a member of the FIBA European Selection team, in 1991. Štefan Svitek or the "Horehronie's Ripper/ Horehronský rozparovač (January 23, 1960, Podbrezová, Brezno, Czechoslovakia June 8, 1989, Bratislava, Czechoslovakia) was a Slovak murderer, sadist, and animal abuser. He is known for being the man who killed and butchered his pregnant wife and two daughters in 1987, dubbed Beštia Štefan by newspapers. For this crime, Svitek was sentenced to death. He was the last person executed in Czechoslovakia. Background Štefan had 4 siblings and lived in a rural, forest area. His mother passed away when he was 18 and his father was a violent alcoholic who abused his family often. At the age of 13, he began to consume alcohol on a near daily basis. Zachary "Zach" Wright (born February 5, 1985) is an American-born naturalized Bosnian professional basketball player who last played for Pro A team JL Bourg. He can play at both the point guard and shooting guard positions. Professional career Wright's first team was SG Braunschweig of the German ProB. Steven Key (born May 14, 1968) is an American professional basketball coach and former professional player. Career Key attended Atholton High School in Columbia, Maryland, and was named the 1986 Howard County Player of the Year. He was a four-year letter winner at Boston University (1986–90), garnering America East Conference Player of the Year honors in 1990. Kenneth Neil Atkinson (born June 2, 1967) is an American professional basketball coach and former player who serves as assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Robin Smeulders
Robin Smeulders (born 19 June 1987) is a Dutch retired professional basketball player who played nine seasons in the Basketball Bundesliga.
