SEAT Córdoba WRC
The SEAT Córdoba WRC is a World Rally Car built for the SEAT Sport by SEAT in the World Rally Championship. It is based upon the SEAT Córdoba road car, and was debuted at the 1998 Rally Finland. __TOC__ Competition history The Córdoba WRC was SEAT's official rally car in the World Rally Championship from to . It featured a 2.0 litre turbocharged engine. The Córdoba WRC competed in the top category of the championship, as SEAT had homologated a World Rally Car version of the Córdoba 16v for competition in the FIA World Rally Championship and other international rallies. 1994 World Drivers' Champion Didier Auriol, of France, and Toni Gardemeister and Harri Rovanperä, both of Finland, were among those to drive the factory cars. Daniel Solà
Daniel Solà Villa (born 3 January 1976) is a Spanish rally driver. He won the Junior World Rally Championship in 2002 and the Spanish Rally Championship in 2006. Daniel "Dani" Solà debuted in the World Rally Championship in 1997 and won the junior class (JWRC) title with Citroën in 2002. In 2003, he contested the Production World Rally Championship with Mitsubishi, finishing fifth overall, and made his first World Rally Car appearances in a Citroën Xsara WRC for the Citroën Total. In the 2004 season, Solà drove in three WRC events as an official Mitsubishi driver with the Lancer WRC, recording his first points with a sixth place at his home event, the Rally Catalunya. In 2005, he raced for Ford with a Ford Focus RS WRC in six WRC events, but did not manage to secure a full-time factory drive for the 2006 season. 1999 Rally New Zealand
The Rally New Zealand is an annual rally race in New Zealand. It was first included as a round of the World Rally Championship in 1977. The race is famous for its fast flowing gravel roads which carry the competitors through forests and alongside the New Zealand coastline. It was first held in Taupo in 1969, and was subsequently staged in Canterbury, before moving back to the North Island in 1971. Auckland has hosted the majority of Rally New Zealand events. From 2006 to 2008 the event was based in Hamilton, with the service park, parc ferme and the super special stage all being located at the Mystery Creek Events Centre. In 2010 it returned to Auckland.
