SCH (album)
''SCH'' is the first official album by SCH. The album was released following the band's successful appearance at the 1987 Novi Rock festival in Ljubljana. The recording line-up was Teno (vocals/guitar/bass/synth/noises), Samir Bjelanović (drums), and Petar Erak (bass). The album is characterized by powerful expression, a mixture of refined noise, industrial sounds and totally ruptured tones full of breaks and twists, interfused with short melodic phrases and pieces. The band's political engagement is already in evidence - as the Slovenia Slovenia ( ; sl, Slovenija ), officially the Republic of Slovenia (Slovene: , abbr.: ''RS''), is a country in Central Europe. It is bordered by Italy to the west, Austria to the north, Hungary to the northeast, Croatia to the southeast, an ...n independent journalist and rock critic Marjan Ogrinc remarked: "The sonic effects of this music utterly embody the question of power, authority, the personal introversion of social exteriors, do ...

SCH (band)
SCH (an abbreviation for "Schizophrenia") is the musical and artistic project and band (or rather the ''band- alterego'') of Senad Hadžimusić, who is better known by his nickname ''Teno''. Formed in the early-eighties in Sarajevo, the band has had an intensive creative and live existence. SCH represents one of the most significant names in the field of alternative rock music in the former Yugoslavia. ''Radio Student Ljubljana's'' Igor Bašin has noted: "As Ljubljana's got Laibach and Belgrade's got EKV and Disciplina Kičme alias Šarlo Akrobata, thus Sarajevo's got SCH. SCH is the key-name of the Sarajevo Alternative Scene." Bosnian writer Miljenko Jergović once described SCH as "...a group of Sarajevan alternative maniacs who have, infinitely and into infinity, dissipated more wild energy and artificial rebellion than one could fit into all the gothic underground cellars from Hamburg to London." SCH Music SCH's constantly changing, radically unconventional and experimental ...

Industrial rock became more prominent in the 1980s with the success of artists such as Killing Joke, Swans, and partially Skinny Puppy, and later spawned the offshoot genre known as industrial metal. The genre was made more accessible to mainstream audiences in the 1990s with the aid of acts such as Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson, both of which have released platinum-selling records. Noise Rock
Noise rock (sometimes called noise punk) is a noise music, noise-oriented style of experimental rock that spun off from punk rock in the 1980s. Drawing on movements such as minimal music, minimalism, industrial music, and New York hardcore, artists indulge in extreme levels of distortion through the use of electric guitars and, less frequently, electronic instrumentation, either to provide percussive sounds or to contribute to the overall arrangement. Some groups are tied to song structures, such as Sonic Youth. Although they are not representative of the entire genre, they helped popularize noise rock among alternative rock audiences by incorporating melodies into their droning textures of sound, which set a template that numerous other groups followed. Other early noise rock bands were Big Black and Swans (band), Swans. Characteristics Noise rock fuses Rock music, rock to noise, usually with recognizable "rock" instrumentation, but with greater use of distortion and elect ...
