S. Narayan
S. Narayan (born 5 June 1962) is an Indian filmmaker, director, actor and lyricist of Kannada films. After Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, Narayan is the second director to direct Dr. Rajkumar and all his three sons. He has given many hits with Vishnuvardhan and also worked with many actors of Sandalwood. He has directed Tamil movie '' Jai''. Career After assisting H. R. Bharghava, Raj Kishore and A. T. Raghu, Narayan made his directorial debut with the romantic drama ''Chaitrada Premanjali'' (1992), with newcomers, the film, which featured a successful soundtrack by Hamsalekha became a musical hit at the box office. Kannada cinema, also known as Sandalwood, or Chandanavana, is the segment of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Kannada language widely spoken in the state of Karnataka. The 1934 film ''Sati Sulochana'' directed by Y. V. Rao was the first talkie film in the Kannada language. It was also the first film starring Subbaiah Naidu and Tripuramba, and was the first motion picture screened in the erstwhile Mysore Kingdom. Ramkumar is an Indian actor and film producer known for his work in Kannada cinema. He made his acting debut in Peraala's 1990 action film '' Aavesha''. The same year, he played a brief role in Rajendra Singh Babu's war film '' Muthina Haara'' (1990). He turned producer for the film '' Pandavaru'' (2006), in which he acted as well. ''Shabdavedhi'' is a 2000 Kannada-language action drama film directed by S. Narayan and produced by Sri Bhargavi Arts Combines. The film stars Rajkumar, Jayapradha, K. S. Isha Koppikar (born 19 September 1976) is an Indian actress, model and politician who has mostly appeared in Hindi cinema. She has also acted in several Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Marathi films.
