S.H.E
S.H.E is a Taiwanese girl group whose members are Selina Jen, Hebe Tien, and Ella Chen. They formed in 2001 and are managed by HIM International Music but decided not to renew their contract in 2019 due to having their own management company. ''Girls' Dorm'' () is the debut studio album by Taiwanese girl group S.H.E. It was released in Taiwan and across Asia on September 11, 2001, by HIM International Music. Produced by Guo Wenzong, :zh:劉天健, Liu Tianjian and Huang Yi, it incorporates music genres such as pop music, pop, R&B, pop rock, and eurobeat. Despite being released on the same day as the September 11 attacks, the album experienced commercial success. Ella Chen Chia-hwa (; born 18 June 1981) is a Taiwanese singer, actress, and television host. She is a member of the Taiwanese girl group S.H.E. Musical career On 8 August 2000, HIM International Music held a 'Universal 2000 Talent and Beauty Girl Contest' in search of new artists to sign under their label. When Chen traveled with her older sister to Taipei for a holiday, she discovered that her sister had registered her for the competition. Intimidated by the long line of contestants and worried of facing ridicule for her tomboy personality, Chen almost gave up before the first round, but her sister convinced her to stay. The album was released on January 29, 2002, by HIM International Music, four months after the group's debut album, ''Girls' Dorm''. Selina Jen Chia-hsüan (; born 31 October 1981) is a Taiwanese singer, television host and actress. She is a member of the Taiwanese girl group S.H.E."我猜我猜我猜猜猜 20070212." Web. Hebe Tien Fu-chen (; born 30 March 1983) is a Taiwanese singer and actress. She rose to fame in the early 2000s as a member of Taiwanese girl group S.H.E. The release of her debut album, '' To Hebe'' (2010), established her as a solo artist. HIM International Music () is a Taiwanese independent record label and artist management company established in 1999. It was previously known as Grand Music International Inc. (宇宙國際音樂股份有限公司).
