Ryomyong New Town
Ryomyong New Town ( ko, 려명거리신도시) refers to a new town located in Pyongyang, North Korea. The exact location is Ryomyong Avenue which refers from Yongsaengtap to Kumsusan Palace of the Sun in Taesong-guyok. Name The name "Ryomyong" means "dawn" in Korean language. Project The project was proposed by Kim Jong Un in March 2016 and the planned completion was in August of the same year. There were several outdated buildings in Ryomyong Avenue, but due to the plan, all of them were demolished. Construction was started in March 2016. It consists of 40 new condominiums, 33 refurbished condominiums and 34 of public facilities including 6 schools, 3 kindergartens and 3 nurseries. Also, 7 buildings for Kim Il Sung University will be built and 15 commercial buildings will be constructed. Mirae Street
Mirae Scientists Street (''Future Scientists Street'') is a street in a newly developed area in Pyongyang to house scientific institutions of the Kim Chaek University of Technology and their employees. The six-lane street, located between Pyongyang Railway station and the Taedong river, is lined by high rise apartments. The area was formally opened on November 3, 2015. Pyongyang Sci-Tech Complex
The DPRK Sci-Tech Complex () is a science and technology centre housed in a large atom-shaped building located on Ssuk Island in Pyongyang, accessed by the Chungsong Bridge. It was completed in 2015. According to KBS World, it then had over 100,000 square meters of floor area. P'yŏngch'ŏn-guyŏk (Phyongchon District) is one of the 18 '' guyŏk'' (political districts or wards) of P'yŏngyang, North Korea. Ryugyong Hotel
The Ryugyong Hotel (; sometimes spelled as Ryu-Gyong Hotel), or Yu-Kyung Hotel, more commonly known outside of North Korea as the "Hotel of Doom", is an unfinished 105-story, pyramid-shaped skyscraper in Pyongyang, North Korea.
