Rykkinn
Rykkinn is a commuter town in the north-west of Bærum, Akershus county, Norway with about 5000-8000 inhabitants. It is located between Kolsås and the area of Skui and Vøyenenga. Rykkinn consists mainly of apartment blocks and smaller houses. Most of Rykkinn's buildings and infrastructure were built in the early 1970s due to the growing demands for housing near Oslo. The mix of houses and apartments can therefore be seen as a part of the social democratic ideology that heavily influenced Norwegian society at that time: People of different classes were to live peacefully side by side in the new suburb. Perhaps for this reason Rykkinn has had a development more akin to Oslo's eastern boroughs which is quite different from much of the otherwise affluent municipality. Bærum
Bærum () is a municipality in the Greater Oslo Region in Norway that forms an affluent suburb of Oslo on the west coast of the city. Bærum is Norway's fifth largest municipality with a population of 128,760 (2021). It is part of the electoral district and historical county of Akershus and of the newer Viken County. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Sandvika. Bærum was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838. Bærum has the highest income per capita in Norway and the highest proportion of university-educated individuals. Nikolaj Frobenius
Nikolaj Frobenius (born 29 September 1965) is a Norwegian novelist and screen writer. Frobenius was born in Oslo, but grew up at Rykkinn. He studied film writing and research at LCP, London. He has written several books and screenplays, including the screenplay for the classic Nordic film thriller ''Insomnia'', which was adapted into a major Hollywood production in 2002. His international breakthrough as a novelist came with the novel "Latours katalog" (1996). His books have been translated into twentyfive languages, including English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Russian and Danish. His novels have received critical acclaim both in Norway and internationally, and he has won several literary prizes for his writing. Nikolaj Frobenius is a former editor of the periodical '' Vinduet'' and worked as a commissioning editor for Norsk filmfond from 2005 to 2008. Akershus
Akershus () is a traditional region and current electoral district in Norway, with Oslo as its main city and traditional capital. It is named after the Akershus Fortress in Oslo. From the middle ages to 1919, Akershus was a fief and main county that included most of Eastern Norway, and from the 17th century until 2020, Akershus also had a more narrow meaning as a (sub) county that included most of the Greater Oslo Region. After 2020 the former county of Akershus was merged into Viken along with the former counties of Østfold and Buskerud. In 2022 the Storting voted to dissolve Viken and reestablish Akershus county. Akershus County Municipality
Akershus County Municipality ( no, Akershus fylkeskommune) was the regional governing administration of the old Akershus county in Norway. The county municipality was established in its most recent form on 1 January 1976 when the law was changed to allow elected county councils in Norway. The county municipality was dissolved on 1 January 2020, when Akershus was merged with the neighboring counties of Buskerud and Østfold, creating the new Viken county which is led by the Viken County Municipality. Harald Eia
Harald Meldal Eia (born 9 February 1966) is a Norwegian comedian, and sociologist. In recent years, Eia has also made TV-documentaries and written books. Eia became a household name in Norway in the mid-90s and has since then been one of country´s most well-known comedians. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. The municipality of Oslo had a population of in 2022, while the city's greater urban area had a population of in 2019, and the metropolitan area had an estimated population of in 2021. During the Viking Age the area was part of Viken. Kolsås
Kolsås (), sometimes called Kolsaas, is a hill in the municipality of Bærum, Norway. Geologically, Kolsås belongs to the Oslo Graben area. Its two peaks consist of hard rhomb porphyric lava covering softer rocks, forming steep cliffs to the east, south and west. The name An old farm beneath the mountain has the name ''Kolsberg''. The first element in this name is the genitive case of the old male name ''Kolr'', and the last element is ''berg'' n 'mountain'. The parish and municipality of Bærum (Old Norse ''Bergheimr'') is probably named after this prominent mountain. The last element in the name of the mountain was later changed to ''ås'' m 'mountain ridge' to distinguish it from the name of the farm. Sør-Trøndelag () was a county comprising the southern portion of the present-day Trøndelag county in Norway. It bordered the old Nord-Trøndelag county as well as the counties of Møre og Romsdal, Oppland, and Hedmark. To the west is the Norwegian Sea (Atlantic Ocean), and to the east is Jämtland in Sweden.
