Ryan Evans (born June 19, 1990) is an American professional basketball player for Bakken Bears of Denmark's Basketligaen. Standing at and weighing , Evans usually plays at small forward. He played college basketball for the Wisconsin Badgers. High school career Evans attended Phoenix Desert Vista High School, but transferred to Hamilton High School as a junior. He averaged 8.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in his junior season. As a senior, Evans was named to the first team all-state and led Hamilton to the state semifinals. He averaged 18.4 points and 7.4 rebounds per game as a senior. College career Evans committed to Wisconsin and redshirted his freshman year in 2008–09. The 2020–21 Basketligaen was the 46th season of the highest professional basketball tier in Denmark. The season started don 2 October 2020 and ended 27 May 2021. Bakken Bears won its nineteenth national championship, its fifth consecutive title. Competition format Teams were divided into two groups: Pro A, joined by the best five teams in the previous season, and Pro B, by the rest of the team. 2019–20 Basketligaen
The 2019–20 Basketligaen is the 45th season of the highest professional basketball tier in Denmark. The season started on 22 September 2019 and was scheduled to end on 13 May 2020. On 17 March 2020, the season was ended prematurely because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on the standings at that time, the Bakken Bears were named Danish champions, defending its title. Competition format Teams were divided into two groups: Pro A, joined by the best five teams in the previous season, and Pro B, the rest of the teams. Each team was scheduled to play four times against each other team in their group, and twice with teams from the other group. The Minnesota Timberwolves are an American professional basketball team based in Minneapolis. Redshirt, in United States college athletics, is a delay or suspension of an athlete's participation in order to lengthen their period of eligibility. Typically, a student's athletic eligibility in a given sport is four seasons, aligning with the four years of academic classes typically required to earn a bachelor's degree at an American college or university. However, in a redshirt year, student athletes may attend classes at the college or university, practice with an athletic team, and "suit up" (wear a team uniform) for play – but they may compete in only a limited number of games (see " Use of status" section). Using this mechanism, a student athlete has at most five academic years to use the four years of eligibility, thus becoming what is termed a fifth-year senior.
