Russie.NEI.Visions In English
''Russie.NEI.Visions'' (RNis an online collection of policy papers each in French, English and Russian produced by the Russia/New Independent States Centre of the French Institute of International Relations (Institut français des relations internationales, Ifri), a think tank. The collection promotes the publication of policy oriented analyses of events in the post-Soviet space, authored by established experts and up-and-coming analysts. Created in 2005 by Thomas Gomart, today the collection is directed by Tatiana Kastueva-Jean with Maxime Audinet (co-editor), Anne Souin (co-editor) and Florian Vidal (co-editor). Since its creation, a paper collecting the year's production has been published annually. The collection offers regular analysis of events in the former Soviet states, peer-reviewed and translated into all three languages. The Institut français des relations internationales (Ifri; English ''French Institute of International Relations'') is a think tank dedicated to international affairs, based in Paris, France. Overview Ifri was established in 1979 by Thierry de Montbrial, who was inspired by the American model of research institutions. Ifri aims at gathering decision-makers and researchers to develop research and debate on major contemporary international issues. Andrei Pavlovich Tsygankov (russian: Андрей Павлович Цыганков; born April 23, 1964) is a Russian-born academic and author in the fields of international relations at San Francisco State University. Hannes Adomeit
Hannes Adomeit (9 November 1942 – 25 April 2022) was a German political scientist who worked as a political analyst with emphasis on foreign policy, security and defense, transatlantic perspectives in Europe. He worked with the American Institute for Contemporary German Studies (AICGS) at Johns Hopkins University as well as Bosch Public Policy Fellow at the Transatlantic Academy in Washington, D.C. and "Non-Resident Fellow" at the Institute for Security Politics at the University of Kiel (ISPK). He studied at the Freie Universität Berlin and received his PhD from Columbia University in 1972. He served as an expert for Soviet studies in various British, German, Canadian, and American institutes like the RAND Corporation in Santa Monica. Vladimir Stanislavovich Milov (russian: link=no, Влади́мир Станисла́вович Мило́в, born 18 June 1972) is a Russian politician, economist and the former chairman of the Russian political party Democratic Choice from May 2012 to December 2015. He served as Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation from May to October 2002. Aurel Braun
Aurel Braun (born October 18, 1947) is a professor of international relations and political science at the University of Toronto. He is also a senior member of the Center for Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies and of the Centre for International Studies, and a fellow and senator of Trinity College at the University of Toronto. Braun has been twice appointed as a visiting scholar at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University. Braun received his Ph.D. in international relations from the London School of Economics. Richard Sakwa (born 1953) is a British political scientist and a former professor of Russian and European politics at the University of Kent, a senior research fellow at the National Research University-Higher School of Economics in Moscow, and an honorary professor in the Faculty of Political Science at Moscow State University. Dmitri Vitalyevich Trenin () is a member of . He was the director of the Carnegie Moscow Center, a Russian think tank.
