Runway (album)
''Runway'' is the second studio album and major Japanese release by South Korean girl group AOA. It was released on November 30, 2016 through Virgin Music. Continuing the electro-influenced sound from their first Japanese album, ''Runway'' features a wide range of contribution from multiple new producers such as Han Seung Hoon, Lee Sang Ho, Matthew Tishler, Aaron Benward, and Felicia Barton. Two singles were released prior to the release of the album, "Give Me the Love" and " Good Luck", which both peaked at number-three on the ''Oricon'' Singles chart. The group promoted the album and its singles through various Japanese music and variety shows, as well as promoting through their second Japan concert tour titled AOA Summer Concert in Japan ~Angels World 2016~ from July 1–3, 2016. AOA (group)
AOA (; an acronym for Ace of Angels) is a South Korean girl group formed by FNC Entertainment. The original 2012 eight-member line-up included: Choa, Jimin, Yuna, Youkyung, Hyejeong, Mina, Seolhyun and Chanmi. Youkyung left the group in 2016, while Choa left in 2017 due to mental health reasons, followed by Mina in 2019 to pursue her acting career, and Jimin in 2020 due to bullying allegations. Yuna and Seolhyun left in 2021 and 2022 respectively after their contracts expired. The group currently consists of the duo Hyejeong and Chanmi. AOA began their career simultaneously promoting as a dance group and band, and officially debuted in July 2012 with the release of the single album ''Angel's Story''. FNC Entertainment (; stands for "fish and cake") is a South Korean entertainment company established in 2006 by South Korean singer and record producer Han Seong-ho. The label operates as a record label, talent agency, music production company, event management and concert production company, and music publishing house. The label previously known as FNC Music, only managed musicians but later changed its name to FNC Entertainment in 2012 and began to broaden their business field of entertainment. It has since January 2012, been based in its own company offices in Cheongdam-dong. The name is based on the miracle of feeding the multitude using only five loaves and the two fish. Shin Ji-min (; born January 8, 1991), better known mononymously as Jimin, is a South Korean rapper and singer. She was the leader and main rapper of the girl group AOA, which debuted in 2012 under FNC Entertainment. In 2015, Jimin was a semi-finalist in the first season of '' Unpretty Rapstar''. Aaron Jeoffrey Benward (born September 13, 1973) is an American singer-songwriter, actor, film/TV producer and music supervisor.
