Royal Halı Gaziantep
Gaziantep Basketbol is a professional basketball team based in the city of Gaziantep in Turkey that plays in the Turkish Basketball Super League. Their home arena is the Karataş Şahinbey Sport Hall with a capacity of 6,400 seats. History The team was founded in 2007. In 2011 the club promoted to the Second Division. In the 2011–12 season, the team promoted to the top tier TBL. In 2012, Royal Halı (a Turkish carpet producer) became head sponsor of the team and the team was re-named to Royal Halı Gaziantep. After the 2015–16 season, the team had financial problems after Royal Halı withdrew and was forced to leave the top tier. After all, the team was able to stay alive and play in the TBL. Basketbol Süper Ligi
The Basketball Super League ( tr, Basketbol Süper Ligi; BSL), also known as the Türkiye Sigorta Basketbol Süper Ligi for sponsorship reasons, is the top men's professional basketball division of the Turkish basketball league system. It replaced the former Turkish Basketball Championship (1946–1966) to become the Turkish Basketball League (TBL) until 2015 when it adopted its current name while the TBL name became exclusive to the second-tier and third-tier divisions. The BSL is administrated by the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) and is contested by 16 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated to the second-tier TBL and replaced by the top two teams of that division. Since the league's restructuring in 1966, 11 clubs have been crowned champions, with Anadolu Efes winning the title a record 15 times and Fenerbahçe 10 times. The 2018–19 Basketbol Süper Ligi was the 53rd season of the Basketbol Süper Ligi, the Turkish basketball league system, top-tier level professional club basketball league in Turkey. The season started on 6 October 2018 and ended 21 June 2019. 2017–18 Basketball Champions League
The 2017–18 Basketball Champions League was the second season of the Basketball Champions League (BCL), a European-wide professional basketball competition for clubs, that was launched by FIBA. The competition began on 19 September 2017, with the qualifying rounds, and concluded on 6 May 2018. The Final Four, which was held 4–6 May, was hosted at the Olympic Indoor Hall in Athens, Greece. 2015–16 FIBA Europe Cup
The 2015–16 FIBA Europe Cup was the inaugural season of the newly formed basketball competition organised by FIBA. The season started on 21 October 2015 and ended on 1 May 2016. The competition replaced the EuroChallenge and had the aim to take the place of Eurocup (organised by Euroleague Basketball), as the second-tier competition in Europe.
