Roy Ferenčina
Roy Ferenčina (born 4 June 1970) is a Croatian football manager and former player. He also holds American citizenship and currently assistant head coach of Croatian First Football League club Dinamo Zagreb. Playing career Club Ferenčina spent his entire career playing for Croatian clubs and he had spells at Dinamo Zagreb, Trešnjevka, Inker Zaprešić, Marsonia and Hrvatski Dragovoljac before coming to Slaven Belupo in 1997. Ferenčina is mainly remembered for his time at Slaven, where he spent the last 8 years of his playing career, appearing in a total of 172 matches and scoring 11 goals for the club. Ferenčina retired from football in February 2005 after a fallout with Slaven manager Branko Karačić during the club's winter break friendly game at the Andrija Anković Memorial Tournament. Harbor City, Los Angeles
Harbor City is a highly diverse neighborhood in the Harbor region of Los Angeles, California, with a population upward of 36,000 people. Originally part of the Rancho San Pedro Spanish land grant, the Harbor City was brought into Los Angeles as a preliminary step in the larger city's consolidation with the port cities of Wilmington and San Pedro. The area includes two high schools and seven other schools, as well as the Ken Malloy Harbor Regional and two other parks. There is a Kaiser Permanente hospital as well. The Hrvatska nogometna liga () ( en, Croatian football league), also known as HNL or for sponsorship reasons the SuperSport HNL, is the top Croatian professional football league competition, established in 1992. Previously, it was called Prva Hrvatska nogometna liga (First Croatian Football League), but a league structure reorganization from 2022–23 led to name changes for the three top league levels. ''Sportske novosti'' () is a Croatian daily sports newspaper based in Zagreb. It was established on 9 August 1945 as ''Ilustrirane fiskulturne novine'' weekly newspaper. Several months later, on 10 December 1945, its name got changed to ''Narodni sport''. From March 1949, its publishing frequency increased to twice a week, and from 1951 to three times per week. In 1962 it was acquired by the ''Vjesnik'' publishing company. Its name was changed to ''Sportske novosti'' on 1 March 1962 and from then on it was published five times per week. Since 1967 it was published six times per week (every day except on Sundays). Elvis Scoria (born 5 July 1971) is a Croatian former football player and manager. He played for HNK Rijeka, Dinamo Zagreb (then called Croatia Zagreb), NK Istra, NK Zagreb and for Spanish club UE Lleida. Playing career As a player Scoria appeared in two Cup finals in 1994 with HNK Rijeka and in 1997 with NK Zagreb losing both the finals. Branko Karačić
Branko Karačić (born 24 September 1960) is a Croatian professional football manager and former player who was most recently the manager of Croatian First Football League club Varaždin. Playing career Club Karačić turned professional in 1981 and spent the following six years with Osijek, where he appeared in a total of 300 matches for the club. He became captain of the team in his last years at Osijek and played alongside Davor Šuker, the world class striker from the Croatia national team and later Real Madrid, currently president of the Croatian Football Federation. ''Vjesnik'' () was a Croatian state-owned daily newspaper published in Zagreb which ceased publication in April 2012. Originally established in 1940 as a wartime illegal publication of the Communist Party of Croatia, it later built and maintained a reputation as Croatia's newspaper of record during most of its post-war history. During World War II and the Nazi-allied Independent State of Croatia regime which controlled the country, the paper served as the primary media publication of the Yugoslav Partisans movement.
