Branko Karačić
Branko Karačić (born 24 September 1960) is a Croatian professional football manager and former player who was most recently the manager of Croatian First Football League club Varaždin. Playing career Club Karačić turned professional in 1981 and spent the following six years with Osijek, where he appeared in a total of 300 matches for the club. He became captain of the team in his last years at Osijek and played alongside Davor Šuker, the world class striker from the Croatia national team and later Real Madrid, currently president of the Croatian Football Federation. He then moved to Croatian powerhouse Hajduk Split, for whom he played between 1987 and 1989, alongside many Croatia national team players – Alen Bokšić, Aljoša Asanović, Igor Štimac and Robert Jarni. Vinkovci () is a city in Slavonia, in the Vukovar-Syrmia County in eastern Croatia. NK Varaždin (2012)
Nogometni klub Varaždin, commonly referred to as NK Varaždin or simply Varaždin, is a Croatian professional football club based in Varaždin that competes in the Croatian Football League, the top tier of Croatian football. Robert Jarni
Robert Jarni (born 26 October 1968) is a Croatian former professional footballer who played as a left winger or wingback and current manager. Jarni started his professional career with Hajduk Split in 1986, and went on to spend 10 years playing for various clubs in Italy and Spain before finishing his career as a player in Greece with Panathinaikos in 2002. He was a regular in the Croatian national football team between 1990 and 2002, winning a total of 80 international caps for Croatia and being the national team's record cap holder until June 2006, when his record was beaten by Dario Šimić. Igor Štimac
Igor Štimac (; born 6 September 1967) is a Croatian football coach and former player who played as a centre back. He is the current head coach of the Indian national team. In his playing career, Štimac had three spells with Hajduk Split and also played for Cádiz in Spain, and for Derby County and West Ham United in England. He represented the Croatia national team 53 times, playing at Euro 1996 and at the 1998 World Cup, when Croatia finished third. He also represented Yugoslavia when they won the 1987 FIFA World Youth Championship. As a manager, Štimac was in charge of the Croatia national team from 2012 to 2013. Aljoša Asanović
Aljoša Asanović (born 14 December 1965) is a former Croatian professional footballer who played as a midfielder from 1984 to 2002. He was one of the best players in the Yugoslav First League, emerging as one of five top scorers during the 1989–90 season with 14 goals. Asanović is best known for his great performance in the mid-to-late 1990s when he played for Derby County and for Croatia during Euro 96 as well as the 1998 FIFA World Cup. Alen Bokšić
Alen Bokšić (; born 21 January 1970) is a former Croatian professional footballer. A forward who spent most of his career in France and Italy, he was renowned for his technique and power, and is regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of the Croatia national football team. With Marseille Bokšić won the 1992–93 UEFA Champions League, and was voted fourth in the 1993 European Footballer of the Year poll. That same year he was named Croatian Footballer of the Year. Hajduk Split
Hrvatski nogometni klub Hajduk Split, commonly referred to as Hajduk Split () or simply Hajduk, is a Croatian professional football club based in Split, that competes in the Croatian First League, the top tier in Croatian football. Davor Šuker
Davor Šuker (; born 1 January 1968) is a Croatian football administrator and former Association football, footballer who played as a Striker (association football), striker. He served as president of the Croatian Football Federation from 2012 to 2021. He began his footballing career in his hometown for local first division team NK Osijek as a 16-year-old. During his final season with the club, he became the league's top goal scorer. He made the move to sign for GNK Dinamo Zagreb, Dinamo Zagreb in 1989.
