Rowsley is a rural locality in Victoria, Australia. The locality is approximately west of Melbourne in the Shire of Moorabool local government area. History The post office there opened on 12 May 1890, closed on 30 April 1962, reopened on 1 January 1946 and was closed in 1950. Greystones Homestead, a historic homestead located at 565 Glenmore Road, Rowsley, is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register. The Division of Ballarat (spelt Ballaarat from 1901 until the 1977 election) is an Australian electoral division in the state of Victoria. The division was proclaimed in 1900, and was one of the original 65 divisions to be contested at the first federal election.
