Rosenborg IHK
Rosenborg Ishockeyklubb Elite (RIHK) was a Norwegian ice hockey club located in Trondheim, Norway. In March, 2010, Rosenborg IHKE was promoted to the GET-ligaen, but the senior department of the club is currently inactive following a bankruptcy in 2014. Several people involved in the organization went on to found a new Trondheim-based club, Nidaros Hockey, in 2014. Trondheim
Trondheim ( , , ; sma, Tråante), historically Kaupangen, Nidaros and Trondhjem (), is a city and municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. 2013–14 GET-ligaen Season
The 2013–14 GET-ligaen is the 75th and current season of Norway's premier ice hockey league, Eliteserien (known as GET-ligaen for sponsorship reasons). The regular season began play on September 14, 2013 and concluded on March 4, 2014, with Vålerenga claiming the League Championship in the last match, defeating Stavanger Oilers 7–1. The playoffs to determine the 2014 Norwegian Ice Hockey Champions began on March 7, and ended on April 14, 2014. When Kurt Davis AKA The Alabamma Slamma went Tommy Noble on the Stavanger Oilers, and defeated Vålerenga Ishockey by 4 games to 2 in the Final to win their fourth title. Lake Orion, Michigan
Lake Orion ( ) is a village in the northern outskirts of Metro Detroit in Oakland County, Michigan, United States. The population was 2,973 at the 2010 census. "Lake Orion" can refer to either the village or the much larger Orion Township, of which the village is a part. Lake Orion began as a resort town and over time has incorporated elements of a bedroom community. History Judah Church and Moses (or Samuel) Munson were among the first settlers. Jamie Milam
Jamie Milam (born May 13, 1984 in Lake Orion, Michigan) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman. He is currently a member of the Motor City Rockers of the FPHL he also recently played with the Fort Wayne Komets of the ECHL. Playing career Milam spent four seasons at Northern Michigan University before turning professional late in the 2005-06 season with the Fort Wayne Komets of the United Hockey League. He then spent two seasons in the ECHL for the Gwinnett Gladiators before making his first move to the European leagues in 2008, moving to Denmark's Metal Ligaen with TOTEMPO HvIK. In 2012, Milam moved to the United Kingdom's Elite Ice Hockey League and signed for Welsh side the Cardiff Devils, but departed after just ten games and moved to GKS Katowice in Poland.
