Rose May Alaba
Rose May Alaba (born 26 May 1994) is an Austrian singer, songwriter and recording artist. She is best known for her 2016 single, ''Love Me Right'', which peaked at number 1 on the Austrian iTunes chart for over four weeks. She represented Austria at the 2017 ''Europa Music Contest'' and performed the theme song for the 2017 Special Olympics World Winter Games, which was held in Austria. Early life Alaba was born in Vienna, Austria to a Filipino mother and a Nigerian father. Her brother is the Austrian international footballer David Alaba. Her father George was a recording artist and disk jockey, known by the stage name ''Inferno'', who enjoyed some success in the late 1990s as a part of the pop-dance duo ''Two in One''. Amadeus Austrian Music Awards
The Amadeus Austrian Music Awards is the annual awards ceremony for excellence in the Austrian music industry. It has been awarded to the most successful Austrian musicians since 2000, and has been held in the Volkstheater in Vienna each March since 2012. It is the Austrian equivalent to the Grammys. History The awards ceremony was founded by IFPI Austria in 2000, and was broadcast by the Austrian national broadcaster Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF). Andi Knoll hosted the show. Austria, , bar, Östareich officially the Republic of Austria, is a country in the southern part of Central Europe, lying in the Eastern Alps. David Alaba
David Olatukunbo Alaba (born 24 June 1992) is an Austrian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back or left-back for La Liga club Real Madrid and captains the Austria national team. Alaba started out in Bayern's youth system before being promoted to the reserve team for the 2009–10 season. In January 2011, Alaba joined TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on loan until the end of the 2010–11 season. He returned to Bayern at the start of the 2011–12 season, where he went on to become a regular member of the first-team squad. Afrobeats
Afrobeats (not to be confused with Afrobeat or Afroswing), or Afro-pop or Afro-fusion (or Afropop or Afrofusion), is an umbrella term to describe popular music from West Africa and the diaspora that initially developed in Nigeria, Ghana, and the UK in the 2000s and 2010s. Afrobeats is less of a style per se, and more of a descriptor for the fusion of sounds flowing out of Ghana and Nigeria. Genres such as hiplife, jùjú music, highlife and naija beats, among others, were amalgamated under the 'Afrobeats' umbrella. Afrobeats is primarily produced in Lagos, Accra, and London.
