Cesar Rosas
Cesar J. Rosas (born September 26, 1954, in Hermosillo, Mexico) is a Mexican singer, songwriter and guitarist for Los Lobos. Rosas also participates in the Latin supergroup Los Super Seven. Perhaps the most recognizable member of Los Lobos, Rosas is known for his trademark black sunglasses, goatee and black hair. He plays guitar left handed. Aside from live shows with Los Lobos, Cesar Rosas has been active as a session musician and sideman during the past several decades. In addition, he released a solo album, ''Soul Disguise'', in February 1999, and toured after its release. Personal life Rosas has three daughters, Ruby, Amber and Victoria. Rosas's wife, Sandra Rosas, was reported missing in 1999. Her half-brother, Gabriel Gómez, was tried, convicted of her murder, and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Ángel Rozas
Ángel Rozas (born 22 March 1950) is a retired Argentine politician. A member of the Radical Civic Union (UCR), Rozas was Governor of Chaco Province from 1995 to 2003, and served as a National Senator for Chaco from 2013 to 2019. Rozas was born in General Pinedo, Chaco, to a smallholding family. He earned a law degree at the Universidad Nacional del Litoral. Rozas first held elected office in 1983 as a Chaco Provincial Deputy, serving for three terms. He was a candidate to be vice-governor in 1987. Rozas served as governor of Chaco Province from December 1995 to December 2003, re-elected in 1999. In 1999 he was also elected vice-president of the national committee of the UCR and in 2001 was elected president, serving until 2005 when he was replaced by Roberto Iglesias. He was elected to the Argentine Chamber of Deputies for Chaco in 2005. Aldrick Rosas (born December 30, 1994) is an American football placekicker who is a free agent. He was selected to the Pro Bowl for the 2018 season as a member of the New York Giants. College career Rosas who is of Mexican–American descent, played college football at Southern Oregon University of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). In 2014, he tore the ACL in his kicking leg making a tackle in the NAIA Championship Game. After missing the 2015 season, he decided to forego the remainder of college eligibility to pursue a career in the NFL. Soledad Rosas
María Soledad Rosas (23 May 1974 – 11 July 1998) was an Argentine activist who was falsely charged with eco-terrorism in Italy. Soon after arriving in Turin in 1997, she became involved in the squatting movement, staying at a self-managed social centre named ''Asilo''. She attended protests and lived as a squatter. In March 1998, she was arrested by Italian law enforcement, along with her boyfriend, Edoardo Massari, and Silvano Pelissero. They were accused of being affiliated with an organisation called it, Lupi Grigi, label=none (Grey Wolves) that authorities said had been sabotaging construction sites for the Treno Alta Velocità. The activists maintained their innocence but were branded eco-terrorists in the media. Massari hanged himself in his cell later that month. Rosas was released to house arrest and hanged herself on 11 July. Rosas' death catalysed demonstrations from the anarchist community in Italy. José Juventino Policarpo Rosas Cadenas (25 January 18689 July 1894) was a Mexican composer and violinist. Life and career Rosas was born in Santa Cruz, Guanajuato, later renamed Santa Cruz de Galeana, Guanajuato, and still later into Santa Cruz de Juventino Rosas. Rosas began his musical career as a street musician, playing with dance music bands in Mexico City. In 1884-85 and 1888 he enrolled into the conservatory, both times leaving it without taking any examination. Most of Rosas's compositions—among them " Sobre las Olas" ("Over the Waves")—were issued by Wagner y Levien and Nagel Sucesores in Mexico City. In the late 1880s, Rosas is reported to have been a member of a military band, and in 1891 he worked in Michoacán. Juan Manuel José Domingo Ortiz de Rosas (30 March 1793 – 14 March 1877), nicknamed "Restorer of the Laws", was an Argentine politician and army officer who ruled Buenos Aires Province and briefly the Argentine Confederation. Although born into a wealthy family, Rosas independently amassed a personal fortune, acquiring large tracts of land in the process. Rosas enlisted his workers in a private militia, as was common for rural proprietors, and took part in the disputes that led to numerous civil wars in his country. Fernando José Mendes Rosas (born 18 April 1946, in Lisbon) is a Portuguese historian, professor, and politician. Early life and education Rosas was born on 18 April 1946. He studied at Pedro Nunes secondary school, and in 1961, he joined the school's Portuguese Communist Party organization, a party for which he was later a militant. He entered University of Lisbon's Faculty of Law where he remained an active militant. He was arrested in the repressive wave of January, 1965, while he was directing the student association of his Faculty. The Estado Novo arrested dozens of activists from the main board of student resistance. He was tried and convicted in 1965. He served one year and three months at a correctional facility. As he left this facility he dedicated himself to supporting activities for arrested politicians.
