Rômulo Souza Orestes Caldeira (born 22 May 1987), commonly known as Rômulo, is an Italian-Brazilian footballer who plays as a midfielder or right back. Club career Early career Born in Pelotas, Brazil, Rômulo began his professional footballing career within the youth ranks of Caxias in 2002. Having remained within the club's youth academy until 2006, Rômulo then transferred to Juventude, where he made his professional debut. Over the course of one year with the club, he appeared in 20 league matches and scored one goal. The following year, Rômulo was sold to fellow Brazilian side Metropolitano, spending the 2007 and 2008 season with the club before signing with Chapecoense in 2008. Rómulo Méndez Molina (21 December 1938 – 6 January 2022) was a Guatemalan football referee. He was the first Guatemalan referee ever to participate in World Cup finals, refereeing one match in the 1982 World Cup and one match in the 1986 edition. Alberto Gatmaitan Romulo (born August 7, 1933) is a Filipino politician and diplomat. He served in the Philippine in various capacities as Executive Secretary, Finance Secretary, Foreign Affairs Secretary, and Budget Secretary. His most recent office is his leadership of the Department of Foreign Affairs before and during the early period of the administration of President Benigno Aquino III. Romulo was born in Camiling, Tarlac from Pangasinan and Tagalog parents. He was then elected as member of the Regular Batasang Pambansa representing Quezon City in 1984. Romulo Geolina Valles, D.D. (born July 10, 1951), is the current archbishop of the Archdiocese of Davao in Davao City, on the island of Mindanao, Philippines and the president of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines since December 1, 2017.
