Rolf Bremer (July 4, 1926 – May 5, 1991) was a German politician of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and former member of the German Bundestag The Bundestag (, "Federal Diet") is the German federal parliament. It is the only federal representative body that is directly elected by the German people. It is comparable to the United States House of Representatives or the House of Commons .... Life Bremer joined the CDU, had been chairman of the CDU district association in Pinneberg since 1965 and was elected to the state executive of the CDU Schleswig-Holstein in 1967. Bremer was a member of the German Bundestag from 1965 to 1976. He was directly elected to the Bundestag in 1965 as a member of parliament for the Pinneberg constituency and then always entered the Bundestag via the Schleswig-Holstein state list. The Bundestag (, "Federal Diet") is the German federal parliament. It is the only federal representative body that is directly elected by the German people. It is comparable to the United States House of Representatives or the House of Commons of the United Kingdom.
