Rolf Anker Ims
Rolf Anker Ims (born 19 May 1958) is a Norwegian ecologist. He was born in Oslo. He took the dr.philos. degree in 1989, and was appointed as a professor of landscape ecology at the University of Oslo in 1992. In 2001 he moved to the University of Tromsø. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. The municipality of Oslo had a population of in 2022, while the city's greater urban area had a population of in 2019, and the metropolitan area had an estimated population of in 2021. Landscape ecology is the science of studying and improving relationships between ecological processes in the environment and particular ecosystems. This is done within a variety of landscape scales, development spatial patterns, and organizational levels of research and policy.
