Rock The Wake
Rock the Wake was an extreme sports and music festival, which specialized on water sports, hosted in Canada. It took place in the cottage country region of Haliburton, Ontario. The site sat on of waterfront with of land. The event brought in more than 200 competitors, hundreds of musicians, and thousands of spectators from North America over three days. Action sports, adventure sports or extreme sports are activities perceived as involving a high degree of risk. The Salads
The Salads are a punk rock band from Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, with strong reggae tendencies. They are currently signed to their own label, Maui Wowie Records, after having been signed to Kindling Music, a sub-division of Warner Music Canada. History The band started under the name Lynx when its members were elementary school students at Kettleby Public School in King Township, Ontario. The Waking Eyes
The Waking Eyes is a Canadian rock band from Winnipeg and Steinbach, Manitoba. History The band formed after the break-up of two other Manitoba bands, The Pets from Steinbach and Novillero from Winnipeg. In 2002 The Waking Eyes released a full-length album, '' Combing the Clouds''. In 2004 The Waking Eyes followed up with a second album, '' Video Sound''. The album won a 2005 Western Canada Music Award. Shortly before the album was released, bassist Russ Dufault left the band, temporarily replaced by The Meligrove Band's Michael Small (for a short tour and the "Watch Your Money" music video), before Joey Penner was introduced.
