Rock gegen Rechts is the motto of concerts and festivals held irregularly against far-right politics as a form of political demonstration in Germany and Austria. Udo Lindenberg called his events Rock gegen rechte Gewalt (Rock against far-right violence). Other names for such events have included Wir sind mehr in Chemnitz in 2018. Jena () is a German city and the second largest city in Thuringia. Die Toten Hosen (literally "The Dead Trousers", figuratively "The Deadbeats") is a German punk rock band from Düsseldorf. History The current members of Die Toten Hosen are Campino (Andreas Frege), Kuddel (Andreas von Holst), Vom (Stephen Ritchie), Andi (Andreas Meurer) and Breiti (Michael Breitkopf). All members except one are German, though Campino's mother, Jenny, was English. The drummer Vom comes from England. He joined in 1999, after previous drummer Wölli sustained injuries in a car crash. Silly (band)
Silly is a German rock band. Founded in East Germany in 1977, Silly was one of the country's most popular music acts, and was well known for its charismatic lead singer Tamara Danz. Her death in 1996 ended the band's recording career after 18 years. In 2005 the surviving members began to perform as Silly again, first with several guest singers, before choosing actress Anna Loos to replace Danz.
