Roberto Russo (volleyball)
Roberto Russo (born 27 February 1997) is an Italian volleyball player, a member of the Italy men's national volleyball team and Italian club Sir Safety Perugia. Personal life Russo wanted to become a football player. His uncle was a volleyball player who introduced him into volleyball. Career Russo signed his first club in 2014. The Supercoppa Italiana ( en, Italian Super Cup) is an annual association football, football match contested by the winners of the Serie A and the Coppa Italia in the previous season. The Mediterranean Games is a multi-sport event organised by the International Committee of Mediterranean Games (CIJM). It is held every four years among athletes from countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea in Africa, Asia and Europe. The first Mediterranean Games were held in 1951 in Alexandria, Egypt, while the most recent games were held in 2022 in Oran, Algeria. History The idea was proposed at the 1948 Summer Olympics by Muhammed Taher Pasha, chairman of the Egyptian Olympic Committee and vice-president of the International Olympic Committee (I.O.C.), assisted by the Greek member of the I.O.C. 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship
The 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship was the 17th edition of the competition. It was held in Betim, Brazil. It was the seventh time as well as the third consecutive times Betim was selected as the host city. The tournament was held from 7 to 11 December 2022. It was Volei Renata's first appearance at the Club World Championship. Sir Safety Susa Perugia won their title for the first time on their first participation of the tournament. Simone Giannelli was chosen as MVP of this tournament. Host selection On 10 June 2022 Brazilian media reported that this edition of the men's club world championship would be hosted in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The Del Monte Super Cup 2022 was the 27th edition of the event and the pre-season volleyball tournament of The SuperLega Credem Banca 2022–23. It was played from 31 October to 1 November 2022. After eleven years, the tournament returned to Sardinia. The edition of Super Cup is organized by SuperLega, together with the FIPAV Sardinia Regional Committee, the Sardinia Region and the Municipality of Cagliari.
